China's long range artilleries have effective coverage of 400km. Set these babies up in Tibet, China can bomb all Northen India industry bases to the stone age in a matter of days, as easy as Israel did to Gaza. New Delhi is also within easy coverage as it is merely 300km from the border. For your information, China is able to produce these artillary shells as cheap and fast and tasty as making convinient noodles!! :smitten:

"China deploys mid-range missles against India"? You flatter yourself too much. :hang2:

simple if u damage any indian city... u can damage it only once..lol...
so extra shells/missiles no use...

and if u cause dsstruction of one indian city-- short range misssiles or shells or whatever..coz we dont care...:sniper:

India will use its medium to long range missiles to destroy some of ur cities....

ok it will be slightly more costly.. than what..u dont stop using them just coz they will be costly...lol.... and once ur city is destroyed India dont need to use any more missiles for that city...lol....

this is simple language... understanding it is easy..:P

also if u damage major Indian city like delhi etc
u will have to pay with beijing/shanghai etc..

agreed missile cost will be more in India case
but the destruction/value of damage in city will be more for China...

So it balances out... no it is China which pays more in such a fight.....lol...:chilli:

feel free to disagree..

What made you think that China does not have second strike capabilities?

And we were discussing what if India strikes China first, not China strikes India first. :disagree:

China does not need to strike India as long as CIA is there to take care of India.
:china::pakistan:

oh how poor lots of boys are taking dream they can hit India and they will remain safe what a joke

guys even in your dream you cant not do this

china did a great job in last years that why they are now and they don't want to loss they know if they try to hit India they will hit back also

hate and anger will not help any one

china and India are power in the coming world

The biggest beneficiary of stoking India-china tensions would be US.

For many Chinese , they are not so friendly to Indians. Because of the Dalai Lama, the South Tibet territorial issues, and more. The border is always very nervous. If you go to a Chinese military forum, it's easily to see laughe at Indians and South Koreans . I admit that this is not very friendly, but that's history and reality.

Well India treats DL as a spiritual leader. He is advised not to involve in political activities. Indian also recognizes Tibet as a part of China.

IMO, the reason is that Indian do not have much knowledge about China and China don't know much about India. Both governments are trying to improve their relationship. This is evident from many latest incidents. But there is lack of people to people contact between these countries which should be increased.

Though there are border issues but both India and China agreed to discuss over it. Several rounds of discussions have already taken place. Also in current scenario, any adventure from either side is highly unlikey, mainly because of economic interests.

Hope one day they will sort out their differences and will live like friendly nations.

You are always contrary to what you speak!

We clearly know what Western Whites and Indian did in Torch relay in Olympic 2008.

Many Western Whites and Indian still try to distort history of China and Tibet, fabricate Tibet has never been part of China. Actually, Tibet has been part of China over 700 years!

interesting,

just gonna point out a few things

1. "Extraordinary measures to repress any opposition to the party at the end of its sixth decade in power suggest that despite having 2.3m men under arms, the leadership still fears foes at home."

says who?

their proof: "Black-clad Swat teams of police will be deployed at key intersections and thousands of agents will stage a security clampdown exceeding anything seen for the 2008 Olympic Games."

result: increased security MUST mean the leadership is fearful and its population is uncontrollable without 2.3m troops

2. “Chinese people were the slaves of Mao,”

- by some guy on the internet

3.“Since you are so great, glorious and correct, why don’t you
dare give the people the vote?”

- by some other guy on the internet

4.“Nobody wants to repeat what happened when imperial Germany and Japan emerged on the world stage a century ago,”

- by unnamed British guy

5. Western diplomats find the new tone encouraging, coming from a country that gave the designs for its own atomic bomb to Pakistan in a cold-blooded move to weaken their joint rival, India.

- uh huh where the proof again?

6.“Help the Maoists take over power in India to pay them back for hosting the Dalai Lama,” said one contributor.

-by yet another unnamed guy(probably on the internet)

7."Veterans who know the PLA from the inside say that despite all its shiny new kit, such grandiose ideas mask the reality of a force that has no recent battle experience and is riddled with corruption. They describe a system of bribes ranging from 10,000 yuan (£909) to get a good post for a private soldier to 30,000 yuan for a place at military college."

-No source not even a unnamed one

8."“Compared with our last war against India in 1962, our equipment is much better but the devotion to country and people of our officers and men is much worse,” said a retired officer, who cannot be named.
"

- notice how he couldn't be named

9. "Or, as General Zhang Shutian, a political commissar, put it in a recent speech: “If corruption in the army continues, ideology will decay and open the way for religion, while the promotion system risks causing a mutiny.”"

-the only one with a source and what does it prove? is he any more trut worthy than Liang Guanglie, the defence minister?

regardless of whether or not the article states any facts judge its quality first and ill leave that up to you after i pointed out my points

sure, may be some one quotes what we said in this forum with the name:"China said"/"india said",many many news are thought out by some writers in his own office
