There was a news here that Pakistan wanted to buy an aircraft carrier. Any update guys?
Air craft carrier won't be alone. They have the latest sub hunting planes in form of P8Is. They are getting sub hunting helis from US. Destroyers and Frigates will gaurd the Carrier. India would be having its own subs under the sea close to Carrier. Its not easy for Pak sub getting close to Carrier to remain undetactablewith near-undetectable submarines
Pakistani jets are Medium weight and Light Weight so range is compromised. Only Thunders (with C802A) and Mirages (Exocet) have anti ship ability. These jets need substantial Escorts against Mig 29Ks. Moreover, they need to stay away from range of Indian vessels' air Defence (especially Barak 8).And even with a third carrier, the threat of land-based Pakistani aircraft will force the Indian Navy to dedicate a large proportion of its own air wings to defense
Range of Zarb? Babur 3 is stated to be 350km. Also Carrier will be gaurded by Destroyers and Frigates having AD CapabilityAfter developing Zarb, Pakistani land to sea attack missile and Babur-III, submarine-launched sea and land-attack missile, it is in the best interest of Indian floating assets to float 1000 KM away from the Pakistani shoes - and even then there is no guarantee they will float on.
China does not have a similar disadvantage, as the PLAN would likely keep its carriers close and within the “first island chain” including Taiwan, closer to shore where supporting aircraft and ground-based missile launchers can help out.
In one case they can but that requires a large scale naval march, in which case Indians will find themselves surprised to find PLAN ships In our seas
There was a plan to relocate all the indians to the moon
any update?
And so you're (IN) ships will go undetected through south China sea by PLAAN???PLAN ships can definitely get into the Arabian sea but they won't be a surprise. PLAN ships cannot enter the Arabian Sea undetected by the Indian Navy.
ZARB range is stated by recent test 600 km by Pakistani media, improved by local defense industry,Range of Zarb?
Babur-3 has range of 450 km according to WikipediaBabur 3 is stated to be 350km

I am not talking about gulf oof malaca but asking about SOUTH CHINA SEANo they won't. Navies of at least 10 to 15 countries know every ship going thru the gulf of malacca
I am not talking about gulf oof malaca but asking about SOUTH CHINA SEA
So what special about it if PLAAN go to north Arabian sea and being detected, every one knows which interested in military that Naval Ships has big RCS no matter how much they have stealth feature they have and same goes to IN ships is/will easily being detected in SOUTH CHINA SEA by PLAANI meant Strait of Malacca. That is the route our ships take to get to South China Sea.
Aren't you ignoring me.

i am not disagreeing with you but asking you what so special about that PLAAN SHIPS ARRIVED IN NORTH ARABIAN SEA AND BEING DETECTED BY INYou seem to be agreeing with me when I say that the Indian Navy will not be surprised when PLAN come into the Arabian Sea. So I am not understanding where you are disagreeing with me.
