India an union not a nation, I am not Indan, remark by Tamil activist gets sacked by MoD

....and it is futile to resist the ongoing march of Sinhala civilisation.

Got it.

Very majoritarian; very accommodating. Try to think things through in terms of the reverse threat.

The Sinhalese really don't give two hoots about what Malayalis have to say about this. The Sinhalese are a far, far older people than Malayalis who diverged from Tamils relatively recently. If the Malayalis can have their Kerala, then the Sinhalese will jolly well have their homeland of Sri Lanka. You are more than welcome to give up parts of Kerala to the Tamils. Start with Palakkad and Idukki and while you're at it stop discriminating against Tamil speaking people in Kerala and make the Tamil language an official language of the state instead of practicing Malayali supremacism.

Also, you guys can't even share water with Tamils while living in the same country and are preaching to the Sinhalese? LMAO.

Where did the Malayalis come into this? Oh, I see; @Nilgiri first call; five minutes to curtain!

Survivor of honour-killing bid sacked for her remarks against Constitution

Kausalya, who survived an honour killing bid, was sacked by the Wellington Cantonment Board for her alleged remarks against the country’s Constitution, official sources said Saturday.

She was employed as a junior assistant at the board-- under the Ministry of Defence-- near Coonoor in Nilgiris district.

In an interview to a foreign news channel, Kausalya reportedly said she did not believe in the country’s Constitution and that it neglected Tamil Nadu on all fronts.

Three people had attacked Kausalya and her husband Shankar with sickles in public view near a bus stand in Tirupur district on March 13, 2016 allegedly at the behest of her father, who was opposed to their inter-caste marriage.

Shankar, a Dalit, died while being taken to the hospital while Kausalya, who hails from Dindigul district, survived with head injuries.

A video footage of the chilling attack had gone viral triggering public outrage in the state.

“According to the Constitution, India has been considered a union, not a nation,” Kausalya said in a recent interview, according to The Times of India. “In that sense, how can this be called a nation ? Also, in the same regard, I cannot accept Tamil Nadu as a state. And Tamil Nadu has been neglected on all fronts by India.”

Wellington Cantonment Board Executive Officer Harish Varma alleged that Kausalya’s views constituted hate speech. “The board decided to suspend her from her duties till an inquiry is over,” he added. “She has been asked to submit an explanation in this regard to the board.”

Varma said that while Kausalya gave the interview in the first week of January, the board came to know of it only on Thursday. She was served the order the following day. According to The Hindu, the suspension order stipulates that Kausalya cannot work for three months.

“Above all, she should have been aware of service rules,” another board official told The Indian Express. “Further review of her suspension may lead to her termination from service too.”

This is the beauty of our democracy. Every body can express him/her self until the expression is not harmful to others.
Every body has a right to express opinion, but country's affairs will be managed by the consensus of the majority.
We are happy with the system, you should not bother about us.
Regards.

Its a 2 minus 23 guy. Negative dbl digits = not worth it most of the time.

There is a reason why reasonable SL members like @Gibbs and @Godman can't stand this guy....and have long put him on ignore effectively. He has attacked them as well for whatever "it dont fit my chauvinist stronk view so its bad" kind of thing.

Indian democracy is tyranny of the majority, the over populated illiterate cow belt hindi speaking sanghis. They (you) should be happy as the system works in their (your) favour through the transition of power from British raj to Hindi raj.

When you started preaching and pointing fingers at other communities. Try letting your women into temples, maybe.

LOL.

My women have been going into temples the longest of all; we worship the goddess.

Just don't say anything; keep reading the posts. At this moment, I'm rolling on the floor, laughing.

Point I've been wondering about more and more of late: how do these other south Asians (Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis, Pakistanis....) know so little about India? This particular dumkopf thinks you and I are Mallus!

Is that why you guys are howling and raging and beating people up in the streets all over women visiting Sabarimala?

Keep rolling on the floor. It's a well honed tradition for you guys.

Honestly don't know where its all coming from heh. He wants selective arguments for states within India to apply to a political entity outside of India? SL would essentially have to be part of Indian union for there to be proper scope for this argument in first place. He is a weird guy....another one that seems to know too much about all the wrong things of some skewed argument in first place.

Tamils already have a homeland called Tamil Nadu. Any attempts by them to steal Sinhalese land and claim it as theirs is not going to go well for the Tamils. Hard to understand perhaps for people who erect temples for film stars and marry dogs.

Yes of course, this is sadly just 1% teaser of the funny-joke crap he's said broad-stroke style for @Gibbs and others. I am long wise to the little game he tries to play that just serves as amusement for others in the end....yes observing (at some distance) is best once you unwittingly light the end of this particular firecracker.

Aww look @Gibbs there is a Tamil guy here who has his face rammed up in your butthole.

I'm not; 'we' are not; even the Temple Board has withdrawn its objections. Only the fanatics are left, and they know that they are on the losing side.

Keep rolling on the floor. It's a well honed tradition for you guys.

Why do you think reading your posts is so important?

It gets us into shape.

They want two homelands. Get used to the idea.

This is the beauty of our democracy.

The news is about a survivor of a honor killing and you are talking about "the beauty of our democracy" ??

Every body can express him/her self until the expression is not harmful to others.

The honor killing gang expressed themselves criminally. Shouldn't they be punished ?? shouldn't such thought process be eliminated from the society ??

but country's affairs will be managed by the consensus of the majority.

A country must be governed on the basis of humanism and not by the tyranny or dictatorship of the majority.
