Saab let him be. Actually I feel kind of bad (a little bit) I went after him like that in this thread....I don't know his personal situation...and I have long learned not to judge everything just by what I see here on forum....as you know and saw some of what happened with me and our mutual doctor friend.

This forum is both charming and cruel mistress....capable of both greatest love and greatest despicable hate. I just let her be in the end. Even this manlion guy at times (though he don't know it, and likely not his intent) made me think, dwell and settle on some dubious positions I held in past (regarding LTTE especially). Some good did come out of him being here.

So who knows, we put manlion down so casually to be false flag (with axe to grind) and ISPR etc etc (and sure it could be likeliest explanation on face of it)....but he could also have just retreated into a safe space away from things he has repressed for some reason only known to him in the end (a few LTTE posts he made back early when I was trying to reach out to him....did make me shed a tear...dunno if he meant any of it of course). There can be any number of circumstances we don't know about regarding him. This can just as much explain why he keeps going on and on and on (when any propaganda agent worth their beans would have realised its not working) and never gives up....and simply doesn't care about the voids he leaves behind in his strategy here.

I have seen a few similar behaviours among some (thankfully not too many) SL Tamil folks here in Canada too...they repress things and turn into different people when it comes to talking even in their language about all kind of even innocent topics....many words are too painful for them to say anymore because of memories they only know or have heard.

Same gaunt, crushingly sad, hollow vacancy as manlion in many ways...as they know and keep talking about Tamil culture or Tamil this and that...but they no longer have the warmth of nuance, context and grounding....it is just bare cold broken metal...and they prefer foreign tongue only, it helps them forget themselves....and they shut you out too from trying to bring them back....they dont care if they come off as hypocrites....they see every other Tamil as the far bigger one for not giving their all to their cause when they needed it most. Few really know what those "Tigers" did to many of us Tamils....it will haunt us a long time....a very long long time.

I certainly was not anywhere close to any of what happened....I was as distant and cocooned away from it as any of you really. So I can indeed seem quite the wicked POS to manlion if any of this applies to him...and I am not all together that dismissive of why he can feel that way. Or I could just be a rambling overthinking idiot on this too...thats perfectly possible too.

But when you said "wipe out" though....I was reminded of a movie (that I could only watch once and never again because it was quite haunting in altogether different way)...that explored this in a way like none other before or since.....can we truly wipe such things out? Taking away conversation here is one thing, but other stuff remains regardless...

Sometimes I do wonder though....was it all really worth it?....being here in this forum and talking to all the variety of characters here?

If a button was given that could remove all my memories of this place as guarantee that all its memories of me were removed too....would/should/could I press it? Probably better thing to do than ask for forgiveness of all those I have wronged in return for them doing the same....because that never happens.

I do wonder though. Increasingly sometimes I do wish that button is available...and I could press it (even if I couldn't regain the time I spent) as I see the reasons I am here slip away with each good friend that leaves....and only the eroding negatives remain so stoically. But maybe deep down I enjoy this clash of reason and toxicity found here...whatever the combination/flux it is in. I do not know to be honest. Guess I will find out. Took me a few minutes to decide if I even wanted to post this or just delete it.....but I figure maybe it will be of some use to someone.

Like I said, I am responding to the nitwit here.....not the lady. My stuff here is not directed towards her, thats a whole different subject and needs a proper reasonable member to initiate etc. Glad you posted this though. I know Bharatiar uni very well (as one can imagine)....a good cousin of mine (in journalism career) graduated from there long while back too....she even sports same kind of hairstyle/look as this lady heh.

This guy is trying to spread his same old stupid rhetoric. His job is only to find some controversial subject in Tamil Nadu or India & try connect or paint it as his delusional separatism movement. He could be a Sri Lankan Tamil who has no homeland. He's angry with India because India is not helping the Tamils for their cause in Sri Lanka. This is the bare truth.

If his story has some reality then everybody here will be running a story of Separate country for Kerala, for Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, West Bengal, etc. This guy must be a sympathizer for LTTE & Prabhakaran. He could even be a wanted terrorist living in hiding who could be executed if he goes back to Sri Lanka. And because he can't do anything, he is trying hard to sell his stories like Tamils want a separate land, so he can get some support & a bigger force to fight the Srilankan cause & Sinhalese.

These Sri Lankan Tamils desire the north-east region to be recognized as Tamil territory so they could safeguard their culture and identity but the Sinhalese nationalists are opposed to this idea, claiming the entire island belongs to the Sinhalese. The Sinhalese occupying forces is treating the Tamil north as conquered territory and are now erecting Buddhist shrines everywhere to mark their conquest. Tamils are calling for an independent mechanism for war crimes investigation but the Sinhalese vehemently resist this idea and support their so-called “war heroes”.

The problem of Sri Lanka is their internal problem, we have nothing to do with it. We can sympathize & voice the atrocities diplomatically. Definitely you will find a handful obsessed & illiterate people in Tamil Nadu also, but there are no takers for such bullshit in India. When the war was happening, many Sri Lankan Tamils left and immigrated to another country in the early 90's.

So one person from one particular socioeconomic and regional background should never be the spokesperson of an entire community who has no citizenship of another region. The day Sri Lanka decides to join India, this problem can become India's problem. It may subside & be solved over time if they accede to India which is their own call, we are not forcing or planning to annex Sri Lanka.

So such landless refugees without their own country & who cannot get Indian citizenship keep spreading these propaganda across the world. If this was true, then you may have found so many international media talking about it like Kashmir.

The Tamils are minority facing somewhat similar kind of situation like the Kashmiri Pandits of Kashmir, only difference is under LTTE & Prabhakaran they put up a deadly fight with the Sinhalese oppressors being a minority unlike the Pandits who decided to leave Kashmir. But after the death of Prabhakaran & crack down there are only voices trying to get support by spreading in such forums. People like this moron come & try to flame the Tamil separatism & try to dramatize the non existent oppression of Tamils in India.

Sri lankans are generally good & friendly people. I have lived & worked with them when I have lived abroad. They are quite humble & similar mindset people like us, unlike Pakistanis. Srilankans have much more admiration for India & common men don't have any hatred for India. Their culture is also closer to India with Buddhism & Hinduism. As per history the Sinhalese are descendants of settlers who came to the island in 543 BCE from Sinhapura, in India, led by Prince Vijaya. Sri Lankan traditional or ethnic costume is similar to Indians. Even their script has similarities with Kannada & Telugu. Just giving the actual scenario due to this cartoon.

She goes around India to campaign for the caste & honor Killing. One such event in Hyderabad posted above. Honestly nobody cares for her even media as she doesn't know Hindi or any other language & can barely speak English, so you won't find her videos online, unless you search regional languages & know which event was conducted in which place. This one video will expose this guys utter bullshit.
