It is discriminatory. Also, the law is unconstitutional as it impinges on the personal choice of an individual to choose or convert religion.Lol How by applying the law equally???
But it equally harasses so it's not discriminatory. It harasses Hindus too.
If the law only applied to a particular group like Muslims then you can say that it discriminates, but it applies equally to Hindus.
What you can say is that you don't like the law, because it stops you from doing what you are doing.
Do you think the police are asking if the "convertee" was willing or not? The example cited above demonstrates quite clearly that any random scum bag could point a finger and cry "love jihad", at which point the accused will be booked regardless of whether the conversion was voluntary or not. Read the examples cited and learn how this law is already being interpreted and applied in a subjective manner with varying outcomes for Hindus vs Muslims, and hence is by design discriminatory.
A civilised nation would laugh at this law and throw it out of parliament.
