Unfortunately, Hindutva extremism & communalism is a huge problem in India. The biggest problem is that it is being accepted more & more by mainstream Indian society, & as a result, the minorities (especially the Muslims) are getting isolated in India. The BJP & the RSS are gaining their stronghold in Karnataka, & violence against Christians has increased. As mainstream India starts accepting Hindutva extremism in society, we can expect to see many more communal riots & violence in the future where thousands of people will die, like they have occurred in India for the past few decades, & of course the minorities will be accused of initiating them. There is a sense of victimhood in many Indian Hindus today, who feel that the current regime is sucking up to the minorities, & being discriminant against the majority Hindus. We can expect much more Hindutva extremism & communalism in India if the BJP gets elected into power.
