Could Ranjeet Singh's statue in Lahore be torn down like the statues of tyrants in the West?

Ranjeet Singh and his Sikh Khalsa Raj were a nightmare for Muslims.

I am suprised to see you have a statue of him in Lahore!!!

then what will happen to your khalistan dream ?
once khalistan is created they will remove statue of ranjit singh .

any way they will install statue of ertrugral ghazi very soon .

But it should make you happy because it's Pakistan's tactic to show solidarity with Khalsa activists.

adina beg was appointed as mughal governor of punjab by marathas , as marathas were fighting afghans on behalf of mughal emperor sitting at delhi .
I hope you know that Mughals were just puppets at that time? Adina Baig was followed by Khwaja Mirza who was followed by Sabbaji Patil as the governor of Punjab.

Yes, the Marathas had taken Peshawar, Multan, Lahore and Attock with the help of Sikhs but they didn't want to stay there for too long.

It's hard to tell if he was a bigot or not,On 1 hand he allowed different people in his army and had inter faith marriage "maybe outta lust" and on the other he destroyed Masjids for no reason at all.

marathas considered mughal emperor as their master even for the namesake . marathas offered all protocols to mughal emperors as tradition demanded .they got all appointments and orders rattified by seal of mughal emeror, this gave legitimacy to marathas .

Then what was 'te' in the sentence that the other guy had written?
Umm literal translation of words from one language to another is difficult. But for English language equivilent, the word "tey" was used as a preposition for the pronoun "tu" meaning "you" ."tey" referred "tu" to the previous post in which is said a specific sentence

He was a tyrant who made the lives of the Muslim populations of Punjab, Kashmir and modern KPK miserable but his statue was placed in Lahore a couple of years ago by the self-hating "ham bahasiat qaum munafiq hain" brigade in Lahore. So now as we are living in the age of tearing down statutes of tyrants from the past in the wake of current global campaign against the statues of the past racists and tyrants, is it possible that the statue of this tyrant could also meet the same fate. You comments please?

Being Muslims, your first loyalty should be towards your religion. So it is only fair that you select Durranis over Ranjit Singh.

Rightly so Pakistan Sports an Abdali Missile and not a Ranjit Singh Missile.

The legacy of Ranjit Singh is with India.
When you joined, you were a diehard secular.

Now you post this.

What changed?

Lahore people celebrated when Sikh raj came to an end
punjabis celebrate when new ruler replaces previous one they side with power . when martial law comes sweets are finished within hours from lahore sweet shops .

He destroyed Masjids in the plural!!!

That makes him and his kingdom a kingdom of bigots!
