COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa Last Address | 23 November 2022

I am tired of hearing majority of the soldiers are against Bajwa doctrine over and over again. It’s time , country loving Corp commanders do a soft coup and remove who ever Nawaz appoints

That's never happening.

Q: Why did IK give extension to Bajwa?
A: IK was wrong to give him extension. On the same note, why did Bajwa offer himself for extension.

Q: IK got the KP provincial and federal government with the help of Bajwa.
A: Not really. Bajwa might have undermined PMLN but to say propping up IK is going too far. Let’s say Bajwa did, isn’t he a prime candidate for article 6 proceedings.

Honestly, IK’s job is done. Anything more from here is an added bonus.

Across the board accountability starting with establishment will be for the good of Pakistan.

IK still wants to give him extension

Do you want me to bring that clip of dg ispr from.2018 where Asif ghafoor says " yah saal Tabdeeli ka saal hai."

So unfortunate that you speak of killing civilian leaders.

Bajwa has billions of rupees' worth of assets. Can you prove similar corruption by Imran Khan? You want to mention the buying and selling of wrist watches here? That is all the Pakistan Army has against IK to demonstrate his lack of loyalty to the country.
If Bajwa meddled in politics to bring IK in power, then IK is equally responsible for taking part in anti-constitutional steps for claiming power as PM.

That makes Imran Khan a criminal.

. .
Let us not forget who gave Gen Bajwa the three year extension.
Yes, @VCheng i know Khan gave him the extension which was backed by the opposition as well. Since in Pakistan we praise corrupt politicians and generals why the hate against Khan? Everyone else brought Pakistan to its knees, destroyed every national institution but you seem to hold Khan’s one mistake very dearly.

Mistake was made , at least the guy is trying to fix it.

If Bajwa meddled in politics to bring IK in power, then IK is equally responsible for taking part in anti-constitutional steps for claiming power as PM.

That makes Imran Khan a criminal.
Ok, everyone is a criminal.
Majority of Pakistanis still chose Khan over everyone else.

Stop defending so blindly.

Bajwa also did professional dishonesty about Cipher in his speech. He totally declines interference in internal issues of Pakistan.

who will prosecute and whom ?

I am not aware of disagreements (which and if any), but hot-headed, stubborn, and emotional men cannot lead states, they need to adhere to diplomacy most of the times.

Talking about military doing self accountability first to show people how much patriotic they are and Bajwa claims to disagree with his predecessors involvment in to politics and called it unconstitutional.

I agree with the last statement, diplomacy is definitely needed but look at the state of Pakistan, corruption, money laundering is at its peak but no action taken.

Do you (or do the PTI-Cult followers) realize that IK was part of all this ? IK will be prosecuted too.

Those hounding after Bajwa and Army should know that if this prosecutions start happening then IK and Bajwa both will fall, as both collaborated with each other and IK planning with Bajwa to help PTI come in power and later giving Bajwa extension, shows IK is equally involved.

Army will get a new COAS, but PTI will never get another IK, while SMQ has a cult following of his own. This means PTI takes the worst fall while Army will stay and recover as it always does.

PTI followers will deny just like Nawaz and Zardari followers but facts remains they did collaborate, IK even mentioned during darna times.

One point we all should agree on and move on, we all should be against the corrupt and liers and those who support the mafias.

Wish Bajwa help IK and forced and help him across the board accountability. But instead given NRO2 .... when Miftah Ismael said on tv ...NAB takes orders from the establishment.

you can agree or not ...but interesting analysis....

If IK does want Bajwa to have an extension, then he is wrong. Important to understand the context, IK didn’t want the imported government to be selecting the COAS. That’s a very heavy baggage to carry. Hope you can agree on that bit.

Asif Gharoor saying things is irrelevant. I believe PTI got a push from establishment, but to say he was installed, is just plain dishonesty. He worked for 22 years. As opposed to Nawaz, where he was brought in from no where.

If and only if.

But if that’s the case then both Bajwa and IK are criminals and need to face Article 6 proceedings.

Would you agree?

Yes Bajwa is doing semantic gymnastics here. There was a glaring interference and he knows it. But he will choose not to as it doesn’t fit his narrative.

Do not get what you mean that if bajwa meddled in politics to bring Ik in power then he is equally culpable. How ?

It's like saying if a someone shot up a shop for the benefit of another shop then the owner of the other shop is also a murderer.

Okay, lets suppose, that IK is an infant, a baby, who didnt know that Bajwa using his cunningness is bringing IK into power by using all means necessary.

So, if IK oblivious to all these facts, becomes the PM and is considered innocent, right ?

Now, would you want such a dumb incompetent PM to lead Pakistan who doesn't know what is happening around him, under his nose ?

Therefore, lets stick to facts. PTI wanted to come in power, military helped PTI accomplish that, this is unconstitutional and both PTI and Military should be held accountable but IK started blaming Bajwa everywhere. Both Bajwa and IK knew what was going on. They are not 6 & 7 year old kids, they are 60 and 70 years old babas.

IK extends Bajwa's tenure after that. Then Bajwa stands aside, IK falls. IK starts a smear campaign against Bajwa, while Bajwa remains unaffected and completes his term (hopefully- still waiting for that last second martial law as predicted by Pakistan's brain washing media).

IK tries his best to turn masses against the military, creating a divide, but IK remains helpless. IK understands importance of COAS so again starts giving out statements when new COAS is to be assigned, since IK was brought into power through COAS.
Bajwa gives out statement that Military showed hands in politics but it will not anymore. Military tried same with MQM to outcast PPP in sindh in 80's and early 90's, the strategy didnt go as planned. Now military repeated same strategy with PTI but IK turned out to be a hot headed fool.

Now while Bajwa gives out statement that military won't involve itself in politics, the political parties inside Pakistan started debating about COAS selection and started to show their involvement in this process. The following are todays headlines :

1. COAS appointment: Zardari's suggestion to be on number one, says Asif (The news)
2. Imran Khan claims President Alvi will seek his advice on key appointment (The news)
3. PM Shahbaz receives full support from coalition partners on COAS, CJCSC appointments (The news)

I have the links in another thread.
Anyways, even if the nation thinks that Army shouldn't meddle in politics, here the top politicians of Pakistan are having a go at the COAS's they want, including Imran Khan. This is a clear indication that political parties want Army to remain in politics. Also, all the conspiracy theories against Army mapped by Media brain washing and Imran Khan's statement have come out to be false.

IK initially coming into power with some deal with the establishment makes him naive. Continuing to believe makes him appear “overly optimistic” (dumb) but not criminal.

With no real prior political experience for him or his party, IK thought his ideals and appeals would change the system. Pakistani politics from nearly the beginning aren’t like a normal country and IK was naive to think he could start as if Pakistan was a nation without its own limitations and past.

IMHO, IK didn’t really care who ran the military, he wanted to focused on the economy not domestic or international poltics.

If there is one thing PTI is guilty of in its years of governance is running everything like amateurs, learning as they went along, not hiring enough of the right people to guide them, and do the PR work to make sure what they put out protects all national interests, not some at the expense of others.

IK lucked out with Trump in the White House, but when the US establishment came back into power under Biden, IK and his team were not prepared. It is perhaps these repeated fumbles that set the gears in motion for what we saw this year.

So it can not be said IK with barely a few years of actual governance experience, spent firefighting between the pandemic, economic problems, and diplomacy to deal with the end of the Afghan war, is equally responsible for the past 75 years of how Pakistan has been actually run. And to be fair to the other political parties, none of them could have done what they did without the system being the way it is.

The problem is systemic, which inventories the kind of politics we have today. Now that the entire nation has come to realize, we are faced with a looming potential default on the horizon, I hope a consensus can be made to make real changes.

At the end of the day, most Pakistanis don’t want to care who is the PM or the Army Chief. They just want to live in a normal nation. National development and basic governance and services should be above the fray of personality politics.

Ok if you think a clean and halal way was used which was constitutional also, then maybe IK wouldn't need Military's support to to come in power.
