China omits India, Pak from 72-hour visa free travel

You just stated in two minutes what most Pakistanis and Indians alike will never realize in a lifetime.

Let us not be naive though because the same applies to America. It would be our best case scenario if India and China kill each other as well.

Amen brother, actually yeah, we are doing the same, look at China and Japan row. We would love for them to duel it out and we could take the advantage for it. But the difference is, we have the guts to admit it. Chinese never think they are doing it to control others, rather is a gesture of good faith. When people died because of it, and they would say nothing, just like the situation in North Korea, i am afraid Pakistan will be the new North Korea, Chinese use it when there are point using it, but when China finish with it, it got sweep into a corner.

Chiense is not the most closed place to tourist, Australia is.

Australia will not give any visa free-period to anyone, friend or foe, the only people who do not need visa to travel to Australia for any period of time is Australian (Even under Tran Tasman Agreement, NZder can arrive in Asutralia without any visa but they were actaully granted a "Sppecial Visa" upon arrival.......)

Interestingly, US citizens require an electronic travel visa.

Same for Hong Kong residents.

My other question is, What can you do in China for 72 hours? You can probably can only stay in one city, that does not do much to tourism IMO
Well, you can tour Beijing, Shanghai, etc. Three days is more than enough for that purpose, especially when you group tour. And a lot of business travels can be done in less than 72 hours. Weekend tour of Japan is popular among Koreans, where people take the jet on Friday evening and return by Sunday night. There has been an explosion of dining shows introducing famous Japanese restaurants on Korean TV aimed at weekend shoppers and golfers(Japanese green fee is cheaper than Korean green fee thanks to Korea's luxury tax), paid for by the Japanese government for example.

Business travelers are the biggest beneficiaries since they can just hop on a jet and go to China to take care of business, no visa needed.

Nah Pakistanis are not as far gone as North Koreans. North Korea is a lost cause because they think their leaders are some sort of Demi Gods. Pakistanis are smarter but a little naive and very emotional but will eventually see the truth as it is.

Dude, either you misunderstood the page (IT should be Australian Passport enjoy visa free entry to other country, not the other way around) Or you mistook etourist Visa subclass 651 as visa free travel.

all 3 (Korean, Japanese and EU Citizen) require to have online registration (E-visa) form the graph you mentioned. (They are dark green of online registration as oppose to purple visa free.) Look more closely and you can see the differnet.

This is the visa policy for Australia

As you can see, you have to apply for one kind of visa TO GO TO australia if you are not Australian.

You can try enter Australia using a Korean Passport without E-Visa or ETA or an actual visa, you will just be turn around by Australian Immigration.

And I guess you guys will magically recover once you realize this "truth".

The irony is that it is actually religious extremism (and not Chinese investment) that is causing your problems.

No but it will solve one of the many problems that plague Pakistan.

Online registration doesn't count as actual visa stamping.

If Pakistanis could just register online before going to China, then no one would be complaining here.

In case of India, Visa omission is understandable but why Pak ?

Where is that higher than mountains and deeper than oceans :D

What you said is "Korean does not need Aussie visa" and this phase is wrong

E-visa is still a visa, you have to apply for it, it does mean you apply for a visa and pay money for it, you just don't get the paper visa like you use to, but still they can refuse you and you have to reapply for a e-visa.

IN term of Asutralian National Security, e-visa is a visa. and online registration is not visa free.

I'm seriously missing Windjammer,RazPak and ticker in this thread ...

Do anybody heard of them ? :china::pakistan: :D

That's got to hurt the Pakistanis with their "deeper than oceans" and "higher than skies" ally not including them in the list.

You are not as much smart as you think. What it has to do with Pak-China strategic relationship?

As far as i Know, Chinese used to obtain visa before entering Pakistan as per Pakistan's laws despite Chinese had 72hours visa free entry (which was not specifically for Pakistan), Now if they are changing policies because of problems of missing tourists which is again not specifically for Pakistan - so what??? Their country their rules.

From reading your posts, I always knew that our Atheism was the main issue. For someone as religious as yourself this is understandable.
Shouldn't be accepted though. Godless heathens have pretty attractive women. :P

Anyway. It is common knowledge that if India and China were not enemies, the Chinese would give the Pakistanis the same amount of attention as the Zimbabweans.
