China omits India, Pak from 72-hour visa free travel

Pakistanis are actually trying to justify the Chinese actions. Hight of cheer-leading. Pakistanis, please accept that at the end of the day, we all South Asians are same and better find our brotherhood among ourselves, else keep getting played by world powers. Your choice.

PLEASE....

Pakistanis applying for visa in China is not a problem at all. Chinese issued this statement for spenders, and the Chinese know we don't spend money.

I don't find anything wrong with this.

what a good party of Indians and Americans for a wonderful oppu to wedge out a strategic friendship.

I'd say it's purely economic reasons as such China allows its archrivaries Americans and Japanese enter Beijing freely. Other nations traditionally close to China's influence are not, namely North Korea, Cuba, Venezula, and Sudan.

Anything to blame, blame our yet improved economy. Pakistan has to find a way to grow its economy notwithstanding the sitation of Afganistan and India relation continues in such a deadlock. There's no such a good day that all outside problems all solved.

In case you didn't notice, Pakistan is having a bit of a security problem at the moment with Islamic extremist groups. It's a security precaution, not a reflection of friendship. Pakistan is still by far the closest of China's allies.

Not really, Chinese have access to the Internet and are educated. So they can decide for themselves, its us southasians that depend on propaganda
Besides, if I were from china, I wouldn't want any south asians illegally migrating here

Nah, it's easy to accept. Security comes first.
I mean even though most on this forum consider china an ally, there are enough trouble makers here
LMAO.......

:undecided: OK. But what about your other cheerleaders?? :azn:

Here is one important note for those who want to stay:

But travellers would "face punishment" if they left the capital and lawbreakers would be banned for life, Gao Huada, deputy director of the city's exit-entry bureau, was quoted in the China Daily as saying on Thursday.

a bit of security problem?

Pakistan is a mess and one of the most violent countries in the world! No wonder that no Chinese makes a holiday visit in their brotherhood land.

There should be NO visa free travel simple as that NOT even for Pakistanis.

Good move by China

Really? about 1.28 million Chinese mainlanders visited Vietnam in the last 11 months. Do they all come from Guangxi?

Its bitter fact that friendship can be only among equals. For China Pakistan is only pawn in the game. not friend.

you should have a basic knowlege that if there is no close economic ties between Guangxi and Vietnam, there will be no mutual understanding of culture ,then there would be not so many travel companies thant develop Vietnam tourism.
Tourism is driven by and then react to the economy

Hmm interesting decision. Have there been cases where Indians went and then disappeared there?

May be some but not on large scale.

otherwise there would have been a thread on PDF on it
