TUMOSAN CEO said the serial production will be made by indigeneous engine...

. .
If there will be an indigenous engine then why we should use foreign engine ?..

If they say 4-5 years you can bet it takes time of 6-7 years. You know this very well. After this, you must test this engine in real condition, which takes time also of minimum 1 year. All in all, you must wait 7-8 years before Altay can go in serial production. You can wait or use an existing engine for your own.

Do you know If German FEV have a 1500hp powerpack solution ?

About schedule, It will take aprox. 5 and max 7 years as It is predicted at the beggining and It is impossible to catch production of Altay MBT, As long as a serious delay don't occur the serial production agenda or Tumosan don't directly licence a foreign engine to establish licence production infastructure to catch production of Altay. It is not important What CEO or Politicians claim. NATIONAL powerpack requires 5 to 6-7 years from now, While Altay trials will be finalized around this years.
