Air Chief Marshall PAF Plz return Capt Lutz uniform back to his family:--

Hon Sir,

Since this is an emotional matter, everyone would have different opinion. Most ordinary people love their country and would willingly die for her. Therefore in my view, soldier fighting against me was simply doing his duty and is no longer my enemy after he is dead; he is just a ‘War’ dead. Islam that I believe in, teaches me that body of the dead enemy soldiers are not to be mutilated and to be buried with dignity if possible.

War trophies are another matter, there is no compulsion or rules that these should be returned to the deceased families. However, if it is done, it would show magnanimity of the PAF Chief and generosity of the people of Pakistan.

Arab Air forces lost 442 aircrafts during 1973 Yom Kippur War and Israel 114. Shirt of a single Israeli dead pilot is hardly a symbol of ‘Honour’ for the Muslims. On the other hand, returning belongings to the family of a ‘War dead’ is more honourable. If it was the other way round and Israelis refused to return a Pakistani pilot’s belongings, it would simply indicate their bigotry and narrow mindedness.

However if to keep a dead pilot’s shirt makes some people ‘Proud’ and retuning it compromises “Honour” of the Muslim Ummah! Keep it till kingdom come.

Sir I respect your views and difference of opinion shall be there. However I am totally agreed with your views about respecting dead soldiers/human beings. This rule on paper is universally applicable however seldom armies follow it.

War trophies is a separate thing and they are part of history.

I hereby request the Air chief marshall of pakistan air force to please kindly return the COVERALLs / uniform of the deceased israeli pilot Capt Lutz to his family.

All families of dead soldiers need closure to the death of their loved ones---and specially of those that died on foreign land---.

A dead soldier's uniform is a trophy no more---. If it was his weapon---it would be okay---.

But to keep the clothing of a soldier---in a war---that was not ours---it does not look right.

So please---show courage and do the right thing---return his belongings---. maybe a sister---a brother awaits.

Why so much sympathy for those who butcher kids and women???

As of on topic as i said before, Mastan khans issue is he knows he never WAS ,never WILL be capable enough to become a part pf a professional force like PAF and PA , but as he cant absorb this fact and move on , he needs his daily and weekly quota of bashing Paf in some way, to rail PA for no good reason. Even more ironic is when some ex serviceman officers from pa and PAF on this site try to put things in perspective before mastan khan , like blain2 or bilalkhan 777 , Mastan khan starts making needless personal attacks on them by pulling in mentions of negative incidents hapoened with Paf and Paf many decades back, like for instance once he brought up downing of Atlantique and blamed bilal khan and Paf for that.

The man cant get over the fact he is not relevant and most he could achieve is obtain an online fan following by posting some extremely diverging ,non conformist views, or anecdotes learned form reading osmand so history books, Sorry but at most it could only gain you online following but nothing practical in life.
I disagree with some of his posts too as I am very fortunate to have come from an air force family (Dad is a fighter pilot, Grandfather was an army eye surgeron, cousin is a fighter pilot....distant cousin was a US Marine fighter pilot). However bashing MastanKhan in this manner puts you on the same footing as he has done countless times as you mentioned in your above post.

Also the Atlantique incident....from the PAF pilots I know...the Atlantique crew were at fault....now if IAF felt justified at shooting them down is another story.

Hi,

I have not changed my stance on that---. Absolutely Paf was responsible for letting the Atlantique fly into a hot zone---. The navy blundered---but just because they blundered into letting the Atlantique fly---does not mean that the Paf gets absolved of its criminal negligence.

As for Blain2---he used to have big claims about the JF17's integration and pak military response if the US military ever attacked---.

He and his claimed fizzled out after OBL strike and salala incidence---. The JF17 integration we all know how long it is taking now---.

What I had heard from a senior retired PAF officer, the instructor-captain on board Atlantique lowered the radio volume to a minimum (so the constant radio chatter did not interefere with his instructions to the student pilot). This was a big mistake. The PAF controller warned the Atlantique several times about being close to the border but there was no response. The IAF MiGs came in low and zoomed up, so there was very little early warning.

When you tell us your Pak number, we will return the IAF coverall.

Sir as per my understanding he was taken POW, am i wrong? There is no record of him being killed in that combat.

we will declare war upon them when your beloved Arab brothers will declare war against India
Bro i was in Dubai only last week. I know how "brotherly" they can be . . . . .
Dont get me started on this.

Your fantasy breaks apart right at the start because Israel is never going to take back the uniform of a soldier they claim never got killed.

Then i realised that whatever we want to believe, Pakistan yes is always in their mind.
There is no question that they keep an eye on Pakistan. Look at this simple article from an Israeli publication.

Israeli defense sources say that there must be “a close look” at the new defense ties between Brazil and Pakistan.

Who the hell cares about Pakistan-Brazil defense ties? Its not on the mind of even Pakistanis, but they are keeping an eye on it.

My previous post was deleted on this subject. But once again I strongly disagree with this his jacket needs to returned to his family. it is not a bloody trophy.. pathetic !!
That's your opinion and rightfully you are entitled to it. When do you see jews respecting Palestinians. They have even wrapped dead in pig fat. No sympathy from those that stole Palestine

They will want to do anything to block defence equipment for us.

For the ATL, Guard frequency call overrides volume setting, so your theory is a bust. IAF Migs came in to escort the aircraft as a Hijack to Bhuj. Lot of un-answered questions there. When the aircraft saw the ATL as non-compliant, they fired.

How about you return Palestine stolen lands back to the rightful owners of the land who happen to be poor Palestinians and go back to the 1967 borders as agreed in UN resolutions and we will happily return what we looted from you i.e Capt Lutz uniform. Fair deal???
