26/11 mastermind's latest venom: Saeed warns Pakistan of 'India's Afghan plans'

Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD) chief and 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed has once again made hate speeches against India and the US.

Saeed alleged India has sent its troops to Afghanistan to fill the vacuum created by the departure of US forces.

"India has sent 25,000 soldiers to Afghanistan and more Indian troops are on their way. The Indian forces will achieve its design against Pakistan sitting in Afghanistan. The presence of Indian forces in Afghanistan is a great threat to Pakistan's integrity," Saeed told a seminar at the Lahore High Court building on Thursday.

The Pakistan Justice Party had organised the seminar.

Thursday's incident was the second time that Saeed addressed lawyers and others within court premises this year.

In May, the Lashkar-e-Tayyeba (LeT) founder was invited as chief guest at the Lahore High Court Bar Association.

Saeed claimed the US was behind the deployment of Indian forces on Pakistan's western border.

"The US wants to teach a lesson to Pakistan by patronising India. America had also wanted to target Pakistan's atomic programme while sitting in Afghanistan, but it miserably failed because of the sacrifices of Muslims," the LeT founder said.

A large number of CIA agents like Raymond Davis had been working in Pakistan with impunity to destabilise the country, he claimed.

He claimed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the election campaign, had asked Pakistani Hindus to migrate to India if they did not feel safe in their country.

But it was because of the JuD's relief work that they had decided to stay in Pakistan, he claimed.

The JuD was busy in providing relief to the internally displaced persons of North Waziristan where military operation is underway, Saeed said. "We are providing food and other daily use items to the IDPs," he said.

Last month, Washington had added the LeT's affiliates including the JuD to its list of designated terror organisations and slapped sanctions against two Pakistan-based Lashkar leaders.

"The US State Department has amended Lashkar-e-Tayyeba's designations to add its aliases: Jamaat-ud- Dawah, Al-Anfal Trust, Tehrik-e-Hurmat- e-Rasool and Tehrik-e-Tahafuz Qibla Awwal," an official statement had said.

Then why would they ban him and his organizations? has Pakistan ever raised that issue with the US if you think he and his organizations are innocent?

As for his role in perpetrating the 26/11 terror attack - I believe our FO and various governments in the UK, US would have already submitted their proofs to Pakistan in the various dossiers and i believe they have their reasons for the accusation.

I remember both the US and Afghan govt implicating him for the recent attack on the Indian embassy in Herat.

It may or may not be a coincidence, but the fact remains that no evidence actually implicating HS in the Mumbai attacks has been provided, along with his repeated categorical denials of being involved.

Ask the UN that question. Ask the US why they need to announce a reward for information actually implicating HS in criminal/terrorist activity if they had enough evidence to go to the UN.

The UN decision was not the result of a trial of HS/JuD in a court of law, where the accused was able to defend himself/themselves and the prosecution able to provide enough credible evidence to implicate the accused. While Pakistan is bound to implement the UNSC decisions (where necessary), the UN declaration does not amount to an actual legal indictment of HS.

As for his role in perpetrating the 26/11 terror attack - I believe our FO and various governments in the UK, US would have already submitted their proofs to Pakistan in the various dossiers and i believe they have their reasons for the accusation.

Again, if there was all this credible evidence implicating HS, why have we not seen it in the public domain and why is the US announcing a massive reward for information leading to HS's conviction? The fact is that once you get beyond the Indian government's propaganda, there is no credible evidence implicating HS in the Mumbai attacks.

Nope, those were allegations/accusations against the LeT, and they indirectly tried to tie HS to it by virtue of his past involvement in LeT. They have not provided any actual evidence implicating HS in the embassy attack.

The US / UK and Israeli agencies ran their own parallel investigations because their citizens too were killed in the terrorist attack, they let the GOI take the primacy in the follow up to get justice because it happened on Indian soil. They provided their reports of their investigations to corroborate and helped in the investigation.

For e.g. The sat phone recordings from Pakistan to Mumbai was provided to India immediately.

Ask the UN that question. Ask the US why they need to announce a reward for information actually implicating HS in criminal/terrorist activity if they had enough evidence to go to the UN.

Pakistan should be doing that - not India.

Tell me one terrorist who admitted being a terrorist...or was proved in court of law of being a terrorist?

Did OBL accept that he was responsible for 9/11?

Were Baitullah or Hakeemullah proven guilty in the court of law?..Yet these people are designated as terrorist by both Pakistan and International community..on what basis?

Hafees Saeed is designated as a terrorist, because it was his organisation, LeT which was found responsible 26/11 attacks..a fact corroborated by Pakistani NIA/FIA.

Evidence against even OBL wouldn't have held up in pakistani courts which has been quite famous for actively freeing alleged terrorists much to the dismay of even the paksitani army and ISI. There is credible reason to believe HS's ties to to the events of 26/11. These credible reasons have led the nations of both India and United States of America to target HS.

Why would a Terrorists Head living in a safe heaven would want to accept killing Indians??? We've all the evidence that he was the Mastermind but Pakistan would never accept them since That Terrorist is your Pet.
