26/11 mastermind's latest venom: Saeed warns Pakistan of 'India's Afghan plans'

@illusion8
HS has denied any role in the Mumbai attacks. The US (despite significant technical and human resources and collaboration with India over the Mumbai attacks) basically admitted to having no evidence implicating HS in terrorism when it announced the $10 million reward for information implicating HS in terrorism/criminal activity. So based on what credible evidence are you (mail online) declaring that HS is the "mastermind of the 26/11 attacks"?
AgNoStiC MuSliM! Oh man, where the dickens have you been? Missed your posts!

Ok, but why is this guy, Hafiz Saeed allowed to rant, vitiating the already tense atmosphere between India and Pakistan? His nonsensical tirades against India are legendary. And he now says that 20,000 Indian troops are in Afghanistan and more on the way! :woot:  And most of the sheeple he addresses fall for whatever he says, hook, line, and sinker! He's like the pied piper of Hamlin!! Are guys that dumb out there? Or is he the proxy spokesman of the Establishment tasked to keep the Indo-Pak relations on the boil?

Has he uttered even a word about the TTP and other anti Pakistan terrorist organizations in spite of them killing 50,000 Pak soldiers and civilians? Aren't they more the enemy of Pakistan than India is? Is he shit scared to talk against them for fear of being blown up? Why is he silent?

All roads lead to Rome............... the probability of HS being involved is way higher than him not being involved............ and in case of any Pakistani militant organization, the logic holds.............

P.S. Have you met the guy? He, like rest of his kind are demons infesting our planet......... down with all sorts of terrorism......... state sponsored and any other variety................
I don't agree with his views, and I certainly don't like the idea of people like him maintaining their own little unaccountable private armies (the government needs to eventually turn their attention to people like him once it has a certain degree of control over the more immediate threat from the TTP/AQ affiliated groups), but none of that has anything to do with the lack of a credible LEGAL case against him.

I am more concerned about the hate-mongering rants against Ahmadis, Shia, Barelivis/Sufis than I am about HS's rants against India. The sectarian/religious hatemongers play a role in polarizing society within Pakistan - HS's rants are largely directed towards a perceived 'external enemy' - that is, and should be, much lower on the priority scale for the GoP to address.

As you pointed out, those tirades are largely 'nonsensical' anyway, so let him keep making them. I am sure the GoI is not foolish enough to treat these 'nonsensical tirades' seriously, or is it?

if he is so clena why UN and USA declared him/org terrorist..

@AgNoStiC MuSliM : How many terrorists killed by Pakistani forces were first made to stand trial in a court of law?
You are conflating two different situations ...

Terrorists encountered during combat, who are actively attacking or attempting to attack security forces and/or civilians, pose an imminent threat that needs to be countered with deadly force if necessary. That is a completely different situation to that involving HS, a man who categorically denies involvement in the Mumbai attacks, and is not an actual combatant in the field posing an imminent threat to soldiers.

Gangster pose more important.

Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD) chief and 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed has once again made hate speeches against India and the US.

Saeed alleged India has sent its troops to Afghanistan to fill the vacuum created by the departure of US forces.

"India has sent 25,000 soldiers to Afghanistan and more Indian troops are on their way. :pop: The Indian forces will achieve its design against Pakistan sitting in Afghanistan. The presence of Indian forces in Afghanistan is a great threat to Pakistan's integrity," Saeed told a seminar at the Lahore High Court building on Thursday.

The Pakistan Justice Party had organised the seminar.

Thursday's incident was the second time that Saeed addressed lawyers and others within court premises this year.

In May, the Lashkar-e-Tayyeba (LeT) founder was invited as chief guest at the Lahore High Court Bar Association.

Saeed claimed the US was behind the deployment of Indian forces on Pakistan's western border.

"The US wants to teach a lesson to Pakistan by patronising India. America had also wanted to target Pakistan's atomic programme while sitting in Afghanistan, but it miserably failed because of the sacrifices of Muslims," the LeT founder said.

A large number of CIA agents like Raymond Davis had been working in Pakistan with impunity to destabilise the country, he claimed.

He claimed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the election campaign, had asked Pakistani Hindus to migrate to India if they did not feel safe in their country.

But it was because of the JuD's relief work that they had decided to stay in Pakistan, he claimed.

The JuD was busy in providing relief to the internally displaced persons of North Waziristan where military operation is underway, Saeed said. "We are providing food and other daily use items to the IDPs," he said.

Last month, Washington had added the LeT's affiliates including the JuD to its list of designated terror organisations and slapped sanctions against two Pakistan-based Lashkar leaders.

"The US State Department has amended Lashkar-e-Tayyeba's designations to add its aliases: Jamaat-ud- Dawah, Al-Anfal Trust, Tehrik-e-Hurmat- e-Rasool and Tehrik-e-Tahafuz Qibla Awwal," an official statement had said.

pigs always goes where they belong.. a shithole...

Mate, under present judicial system, even if you have a case, can you even bring it up? You or anyone who even dares to challenge any fascist Islamic terrorist organization will be declared a heretic and burned at the stake, even before you can say "hello"........... what about all them commissions and reports........... what about different political murders........... have we seen even one shred of evidence till date? This is Pakistan my friend, the sooner we understand that law does not rule this land, and evidence is nothing more than figment of imagination of a 16 grade officer, better we shall be able to shape our policies, till the date we can set things right.............

Again, ask the UN and the US - like HS himself has pointed out, the UN and US did not conduct a criminal trial where the accused was allowed to defend himself and judgment passed by qualified judges who weighed the arguments and evidence presented by both accused and accuser.

As I pointed out earlier, the fact that the US has had to announce a huge reward for information implicating HS in terrorist/criminal activity indicates how weak the legal case against HS actually is.

All of that points to a massively flawed law enforcement and judicial system - please remember that it is not just terrorists who are able to manipulate this system, but all manners of criminals and influential individuals in Pakistan. The solution here is to improve the system itself, not to unilaterally decide that X is guilty without evidence and lynch him. The route you are suggesting is one the religious extremists are already implementing - going outside the system would make us no different than them, except for the choice of 'targets'.

No, not the GoI, but the over enthusiastic Indian media! And it does influence the people to some degree, like HS is some Godzilla who's about to invade India with his army of yahoos!

Are you serious dude? the NSA / security apparatus takes his rants seriously because the declaration comes from a terrorist who is capable of planning and mounting attacks like the 26/11 - have you forgotten the attack on the Indian embassy in Herat which was credited to his organization and thankfully well defended? I am sure he is planning more attacks on Indian targets in Afghanistan.

The UN sanctions do just that, impose 'sanctions' (typically on assets) of an individual and/or entity. They are not a criminal conviction for alleged crimes committed by an individual and/or entity. The UN sanctions on HS/LeT/JuD are along the lines of 'limiting cross-border movement and flow of assets', which the Pakistani government is complying with to the best of her abilities.

However, as Indians are well aware, Hawala/Hundi channels of moving money exist across South Asia and the Middle East, and a broken and corrupt Pakistani law enforcement and judicial system means that government sanctions against HS are not going to be airtight by any means.

I think this guy is smoking 25000 indian soldiers in afghanistan without parliment approval...really they are Big liars

Evidence against even OBL wouldn't have held up in pakistani courts which has been quite famous for actively freeing alleged terrorists much to the dismay of even the paksitani army and ISI. There is credible reason to believe HS's ties to to the events of 26/11. These credible reasons have led the nations of both India and United States of America to target HS.
It's the question of whether the judges have the moral guts to incarcerate terrorists like Hafiz Saeed. They know the risks involved. Retribution from the terrorists would be severe in case of an adverse judgement. The judges know the consequences. They wouldn't want their families and themselves to be shot, would they?

And so, there is no hope in hell to bring these guys to justice. India would be living in a world of make-believe if it thinks otherwise.
