"All hail the Queen, all hail the Queen".

Happy Birthday your majesty !
Dieu sauve la reine !

I have known hundreds of beautiful English women over my lifetime. Although today's girls do need some tips regarding style and sense i.e. binge drinking is not attractive.
As for invasion, wasn't going to happen, considering it was the UK knocking Europe and most of the world about lol.

Could the rest of the poster stay on topic. If you want to talk about the beauty of women from different nations, make a thread about it.

You're right man ,sry for the off topic.

I'm not a subject of Her Majesty but I'm a honoured guest.Happy birthday to the Queen, she stands over a nice country with kind people.Long may she rule and grant us the oportunity to say our congratulations at least on a centenary.

Thank you my friend. I just wonder if the French royal family was still around how much more closer our countries would have been. Sadly they fell into disarray and the rest is history.

Thank you my friend, best wishes to the people of Romania and yourself. I hope your stay here is pleasant and successful. I understand there is still Romanian royalty?

They were toppled by the masonry but that's a long story.

Anyway,as a side note,on her birthdays she ussually has king Michael of Romania right next to her.....she believes that royalty always stays royalty and because of age he's entitled to appear close to her at official gatherings.

Yes,i've adressed that above.King Michael is the king who ruled Romania during WW2 .I'm personally a monarchist and I would have liked seeing him on the throne after 1990.

Ah I see . It would be good to make a thread about that i.e. the fall of the Romanian Royal family. Yes, that's right, his excellency King Michael.

Will do it than. It's especially interesting because King Michael is the only head of state from WW2 still alive (albeit nominally as he was basically a hostage to the filogerman Marshall Antonescu untill the coup of 23rd of August 1944).

The amount of tourism they bring pays for it. Last time I went past Buckingham palace, all the Indians and Chinese tourists were going crazy and taking pictures outside Buckingham palace.

That's like a daily occurence.I was there on a regular tuesday and it was the same.

PS: Thank you UK for giving me religious freedom. I don't have to watch my back every time I pray in my mosque, can't say the same if I was in Pakistan.

Happy Birthday Ma'am.

I tend to avoid going to London, too crowed for my liking.

You have one here. I am incurable history addict. Anywhere and anytime period.

I feel the same. Great city but not for me. I prefer the smaller town I am in.

@waz

Louis XVI was a king that really thought about the well being of his people, even during tough times.
The people thought they were the principal actors of the so called "revolution",but in fact everything happened behind the scenes.... and that's a long story indeed.
I feel bad about how his family was treated and how the Queen til her death was treated worse than a dog.

His last words were ;

I die innocent of all the crimes imputed to me. I pardon the authors of my death, and pray God that the blood you are about to shed will never fall upon France.

Sad end.
Vive le Roy....!

A story that needs telling on here my friend. It would be good to see you write something on it. I think we could have a collective thread on the royal families of Europe.
It is indeed very sad that nothing remains of King Louis's line.

With the risk of sounding like a conspiracy nutt I'll share a few thoughts. The French Revolution, altough a noble endeavour in its ppearance was a anti Christian movement with numerous recorded massacres against pro royalty and Catholic peasants.Robespierre was nothing short of Lenin.

As another side story,Ionel Bratianu,a leading Romanian politician during WW1 and a founder of Greater Romania was a mason but he explicitly forbid his son from ever joining the masonry,as if he allready had sacrificed his soul to the devil but tried preventing him from doing the same.Greater Romania came about on the tombstones of the masonry's adversaries:the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Tsarist Empire, like a tool to an end.

And,not wanting to go further into it,check the "Tower of Babel" story:

1.Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. As people moved eastward, they found a plain in and settled there.

2.They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar.

3 And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

4 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.

5 And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.

6 Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”

7 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city.

So,they were ONE people,ONE language, but the Lord scattered them.If I were a skeptic I would say that today someone tries to make us all ONE people ,ONE culture, speaking ONE language....
