I do remember a joke. Pakistani ex test cricketer Azhar Mehmood when on peak of his short career started learning English to avoid any sort of communication barrier whenever declared Man of the match. Once he found his fluency, he got himself outa nick in such a pathetic way...that selectors never considered him to be the part of the national team again...!! At the end his hard work paid off when he got his British Nationality...!!

Impression jamane ke liye,most people believe even speaking a few words in English will establish them as something better.It's another matter that the opposite usually happens due to their lack of proficiency.

Japanese / Chinese / Spanish / Italian / Russians all speak their native languages and don't try to speak English

We need to forget about English specially for sportsmen

Not sure why Pakistani board not enforce , necessary translators to company Pakistani cricketers so they can express their ideas freely in Urdu language

The translator was already there helping Umar Akmal "understand" the question. Funny part, he actually tried to answer a question in English which he couldn't understand in the same language without interpreter's intervention

I have no problem with his English but I have problem with his cricket which is what he is being paid for and I cant remember when was the last time he played cricket.
