88% Pakistani civilians willing to go to war for Pakistan

@ranjeet l Not just TTP. Akbar Bugti said in his last interview that if India attacks again, the entire Baloch tribes will join the Army. This was recently ratified again by Sarfaraz Bugti and Shahzain Bugti as well.

Pakistan's most heavily armed province is not KPK, its Punjab. People's war concept was presented by Lt,Gen R Hamid Gul some time ago.

Pakistan is a highly unionized country at a student level. Few hundred student leaders can mobilize millions of students for war.

Manpower is not Pakistan's issue, rather Pakistan's terrain is its greatest asset and greatest weakness. Asset because it provides Pakistan's livelihood but weakness because the flat plains are harder to defend. Now western Pakistan is a difference any enemy will be stopped in their tracks as the terrain favors Pakistan.

They only share blood with Pak Pashtuns, nothing in common with Punjabis

Punjabis have historically had great relations with Afghans, by that I mean Muslims of course. The Muslims asked Ahmad Shah to come to Punjab to help fight Sikhs and he came every time. For that we hold him in high regard.

Sign of worry--

Almost all pakistanis are ready to fight ;)
its called love for the country...like anyone would stand up for their mother and children for us Pakistan is our motherland who nurtured us and its also our child to protect!!

Dont read too much into surveys.

In a survey the coward of all will be full of blood rush, ready to die and ready to kill.

For e.g. no matter what @JonAsad may be boasting about, he will run away seeing me on battle ground.

You could have just asked- :dirol:

Tried but ......

Irrelevant, pakistan doesn't have industrial base to support more than limited number of men and keep them supplied with ammo, food. This applies to all countries.Huge numbers of ill trained rabble can't do shit in digital warfare..when usa wiped out half a million iraqi army with 100 losses.Totting kalshnikovs and hiding in guerilla hit and run warfare is one thing, conventional warfare is another thing.

PLA..the most recent exponent of 'people's army' understood this and moved away from the concept after the gulf war.Now they have downscaled and instead become more equipment centric.

What would have been truly blessed for pakistan is if 88% said they were willing to pay taxes. That would have done much more good.

This one reason for most pakistanis willingness to fight: Indian bias against Muslims

India's intelligence agencies need fresh scrutiny

That it was Praveen Swami who recorded these institutional failings is ironic, given that he was one of the primary targets of a long, detailed December essay by Praveen Donthi in India’s Caravan magazine. Donthi argued that Indian national security journalists have been wholly compromised by a pathological, uncritical intimacy with Indian intelligence agencies over decades: 'many Indian journalists refer to intelligence officers, and even agency chiefs, not as sources but as friends, calling them by their first names or nicknames, and inviting them to Diwali celebrations and other family events', resulting in a tendency to publish unreliable information from a small number of unnamed sources.

...
Among the consequences, argued Donthi, was that 'anti-Muslim bias...seems to pervade most reporting on internal security and acts of terrorism', thereby underplaying terrorism committed by Hindu extremists and allowing abuses of authority to go unreported and uncorrected. Donthi concluded by quoting former RAW chief (and amiable Twitter regular) Vikram Sood: 'Every journalist should ask himself a question before publishing any report...Will it make India safer or the enemy wiser? Does it serve my country or not? Am I prepared to bend the truth a bit if it does?'

This poll if true shows the level of patriotism people have for their land. But can it translate into reality if say an invasion from a modern Abdali, Ghauri or Ghaznavi happened? historically it did not as everyone usually submitted to the invader after the army was defeated. Historically some Punjabi tribes such as the Ghakhars, Khokhars bravely resisted but they are a minority not 88%.

Can Pakistanis(and even Indians and Bangladeshis) do what Russians did in WW2 when invaded by the Germans? can they put up a national resistance of that scale where every man is a soldier?

Bhai, no one is stupid enough to invade us. We have the 6th largest standing Army, 7th largest air force, 85 million firearm bearing civilians and a crap load of Nukes.

I wish you hold your fort, we don't care how and in who's name you kill these low lives. Just don't let them gain an upper hand in your geography. We would wish to see everyone who raises their head against the Pakistani state dead. People crossing our border can be handled by our troops.
