This poll if true shows the level of patriotism people have for their land. But can it translate into reality if say an invasion from a modern Abdali, Ghauri or Ghaznavi happened? historically it did not as everyone usually submitted to the invader after the army was defeated. Historically some Punjabi tribes such as the Ghakhars, Khokhars bravely resisted but they are a minority not 88%.

Can Pakistanis(and even Indians and Bangladeshis) do what Russians did in WW2 when invaded by the Germans? can they put up a national resistance of that scale where every man is a soldier?

Sir back then there was no concept of Pakistaniat or let alone Punjabi nationalism. Punjabis only rebelled when taxes imposed were to damn high.

Guys stop being jingoistic. It's just a survey this doesn't prove the actual percentage. If you really want to know the actual percentage, ask the people being surveyed to cut their hand then we'll see who's the real patriot.

And on a serious note if I see Pakistan is already on war with their TTP and other terror orgs. So they already don't have anything to loose they have to live there anyway with everyday bombing in cities, so why not die protecting the country. Ask any billionaire in Pakistan he'll straight away Deny. And anyways it's still important to keep in mind that it was a survey and not actual recruitment. In other words if 88% really wanted to fight for country why aren't they joining armed force, does armed force every year get applications equivalent to 88% of total population of the country?

Sir I know you and others like you are quite in pain Sir after seeing this I posted it also on other forums and pain was also quite evident their and those 10 % said no they belong to that elite class which doesn't pay taxes others if they don't want they indirectly pay when they buy things or when their pay comes through banks
