Most of scientists doing work for their passion ,money and promotion is secondary always. I think you know well how much money Scientist F/G getting ryt. If they want they can make money somewhere.............
What is there to salvage,when you test ,things will fail if they complex but you and i know if not this time they will get it right nxt time.Until yesterday your own country fellows were claiming that it will be tested from a sub.....in fact due to the confusion of the outcome, some were still adamant that land test failed while sub launch was a success.
I guess they were desperate to salvage some pride.
They did that after...
I agree but Pakistan never had a failure, thats true.
If success can get them personal gains then failure will get them personal loss.but still they need to follow some ethics in work culture and do not hurry sensitive costly test for personal gains
Who in the world will test a missile for the first time from a sub,there are platforms built under water to test initially only after success and confident that they will test from sub.
Sir, both India and pakistan have a deal which includes the notification of any missile test , small or big period.1. It has been a long time since Pakistan did a long range missile sir..I believe last year in this month or November Pakistan Navy notified India about a test but it was a missile from the storage and not the new missile..All the other missiles are short ranges and can be tested within out territory so no need to notify anyone..!
2. If India believed Pakistan cannot develop its own missile etc, then we have really no problem with that. At the end of the day Babur is operationalize and Nirbhay is not..India did same with china by promoting that China is a copy cat
3. Both Pakistan and India have different needs to consume Public sympathy..!
Hi there, no country/organization tests a submarine launched missile for the first time from a submarine. Everyone develops a similar underwater platform first.All the countries fire their missiles (direct from the sub) except India which came with world's first underwater platform;

Hi there, no country/organization tests a submarine launched missile for the first time from a submarine. Everyone develops a similar underwater platform first.
Here is a photo of the M-45/M-51 SLBM (France):
What do you think is that spray of water around the system in the second photo? The French have made a giant water body facility for this purpose on land. Other nations are yet to discuss.Do you see any sea here in the photo?
They are just testing its cold ignition system.

While in Indian underwater test fire:
The 750-km range missile, codenamed B-05, was reportedly launched from a submerged pontoon in full operational configuration on Monday.
The user associate launch was conducted by the defence personnel in association with Indian Navy. Defence sources said the pontoon was positioned inside the sea, about 8 km from Visakhapatnam coastline. The missile was fired from 20-metre deep water.
@The Deterrent
Your following tall claim requires taller evidence;
Hi there, no country/organization tests a submarine launched missile for the first time from a submarine. Everyone develops a similar underwater platform first.
And finally what we get from you is this pointless & frugal half liner:
Other nations are yet to discuss.
Why are they discussing? They do have SLBM/SLCMs already. So what are they discussing?
I am sure you have been scavenging Google/Bing/Yahoo without success.

And for your information, India did a simulated underwater pontoon test, taking into account pitching & rolling of submarine. One of a kind "first"
There are 2 submarine-launched cruise missile modes: horizontally-launched (from the torpedo tubes) and vertically-launched.
Nobody in the world, India included, has a facility to horizontally launch SLCM from underwater, as you would (actually) launch them from T/Tubes from real submarine.
Henceforth, to claim that >>>> no country/organization tests a submarine launched missile for the first time from a submarine. Everyone develops a similar underwater platform first >>>> IS CLUMSY.
I understand if you have comprehension issues, so here is a little information for your highness:
1. Having an underwater test launch platform is no "break-through" technology. US, Russia (formerly USSR) and China gave less importance to such a system because of availability of retired submarines which could be modified for more realistic test environments, and besides, US/Soviet SLBM development was made way back in the 60s, there isn't much "evidence" available. UK deploys US-made Tridents. That leaves France, India, Israel, Pakistan, North Korea and Iran having submersible launch capability. I already posted about how the french test their system in a simulated water platform. Israel & Pakistan are keeping their tech a secret, and NK & Iran are taking their baby steps.
So when I said that "no country tests it first from a submarine", I meant an operational asset. That is something no one risks, so either former vessels are used or a small scale platform is used.
2. Coming towards the "taller" evidence, here are some photographic proofs for easy comprehension.
Below is a photo and a schematic of a soviet submersible barge known as PSD-4:

Here is a photo of the French MdCN cruise missile launch. In the bottom-left part of the image, you can see a submersible launch system's barge.

Here is another photo of the previously posted French M51 SLBM. There is more water in this photo serving its purpose as taller evidence:
Thank you so much for teaching me the basics of submarine launched missiles. Try making your posts more colorful next time, they don't look clumsy enough.
