Why are Indians so sickley obssessed with Pakistan?

One thing I seriously fail to understand, why a huge country like India with a population of 1,2 billion and huge area is obsessed with a smaller neighbor (relatively speaking)?

Why Indians can not leave us alone for a while, for example by letting us discuss whatever we want to on a Pakistani forum?

Why is everyone starting from the extremist PM and going all the way down to a common street hawker is obssessed with Pakistan?

They tell us, they are a global power and don't care about a "small country" like us. But check their media, their ministers, and even people on this forum to get an idea how far fetched this is from reality.

Is Pakistan rooted so deep in Indian psychology that even in their dreams they see us as a boggeyman?

How can we address these psychological insecurities of Indians?

I don't claim normal people are obsessed, they, most of them anyway, just want a better life for themselves and their kids. Your establishment is certainly obsessed. The only way it can justify its existence and control over your country. A bogeyman is a must for its purposes.

India is not yet a global power, not even close. Global power means being able to project power anywhere. There is only one global power left. Our ambitions are to be able to project our power sufficiently to protect our interests.

this post is clear evidence that Pakistanis are obsessed with indians. when ever pakistani military personals go to a forgin nation they ask their host to reduce their ties with india. even afghan officals said this openly, they said when ever pakistanis came to their country, pakis ask to reduce ties with india, but indians never talk about Pakistanis. every pakistanis in PDF try to troll on every pages related to india. i never saw any indians doing like that.
