White American's fear of Indian IT workers

It seems to be open entry for Indians in Silicon Valley they seem top be getting a hell lot of work visas. But got to say some of them are hard working, very capable and exploited.
 
Getting interviewed by an Indian for a tech job is the worst.

They’ll ask you a question, then you’ll answer it.

But your answer is not the way they would do it, so it automatically makes you wrong.

These are the middle aged old fart bhartis that even many young bhartis working in tech loathe. :lol:

My friends in the Bay area joke about this too.

These are self-assured high-caste gray-hair cow-belt gloaters (who got their jobs in the late 1990's during the Y2K boom) who approach you (if you are anywhere remotely desi looking) with the attitude of "be humble and compliant beta".

These old farts forget that in 2022 there is a glut of tech jobs available.

My experience with Indian IT workers
They are friendly and humble when they are in small number. On the surface, they would smile at you and be real friendly. When behind you, they will sabotage your career and try to take over. Once their percentage in the organisation increases, they will meet up regularly in groups to discuss strategy to take over. For example, an Indian manager would keep an underqualified Indian workers employed regardless of whether he does anything. Or he would move competent workers out of a project which is going well and put Indian workers in to take credit for the success. When it comes to performance review, an Indian manager would always find excuse to undervalue non Indian employees to sabotage them and writes shining reviews for his Indian staff.
Once Indians have taken over an organisation, they would establish a caste system of Brahmin priest caste as senior managers. The Brahmin would act all civilise as vegetarians non meat eaters while appoint lower caste Indians as middle management along with the Sikhs. The middle management Indians would be the ones who brutalise workers and do the bullying while the Brahmins just smiles and silently approve their discriminatory behaviour. The organisation will turn into a caste system as follow
Brahmin Indians
Middle caste Indians + Sikh Indians
Older whites
Young whites
Non Indian minorities.
Harassment of non Indians staff, in particular sexual harassment is not uncommon. Non Indians are deprive of career opportunities while bully to quit just so the Indians can import more Indians into the workplace using immigration loophole.
In the end they aim to take over our IT industry and replace all workers with Indians.

Same situation in Australia/New Zealand.

They will put an elaborate act of interviewing people of other ethnic backgrounds but will always hire Indians. Its a waste of time sitting an interview with them.
They only care about keeping the white man happy. Their behaviour is at its best when a white boss or colleague is around.

Their tactics are not limited to IT industry. They have ruined fast food and many other industries.

US shall be aware, they maybe creating 2.0 China of India. The US strategy is using India to contain China.

Sounds familiar? US used PRC China to contain Soviet in the late 70s to 90s and by collaborate with China in political , economical and military and guess what happened?

I hope US not to repeat the process again and smash their own foot. The India now are enjoying all the benefit from US while doing very little of against China. First they refused the sanction of Russia and even buy large quantity of Russia products like oil while whole Europe suffered. The Indian launched limited symbolic border skirmish that did very little to drag down the overall Chinese military facing the east side of pacific. The India Modi even support trade in RMB, back stab the US.

These Indian will bite back and throw away western like used towel once they got the technology and industries power of what they want from western.

Beware western! Western shall sanction India heavily for supporting Russia and kick them out of Quad.

Microsoft stands out from all these.
Microsoft has gotten into this habit of causing worldwide outages because that company hosts many common services like emails. The causes of these crashes and always due to stupid stuff like an engineer added a wrong line of code of forgot to plugin a hard drive.
The 737 crash was also caused by the same fake geniuses.
This is where unqualified hiring is exposed but Americans can't do much about it. When they find the person responsible they also discover the chain of responsibility is Indian from top to bottom and they find a bigger idiot as they go up.
 
White people are racist not all of them but alot of them. Problem is these jobs need technical skills and alot of locals don't have them so they have to import workers who can fill these jobs. Indians from what I see are in top companies so there's something that they are doing right. They are also seen as model citizens, they might be scummy and scammy, but they are hardworking, don't get involved in drugs and they usually do their education and get decent jobs and add to the tax bracket.

That Pizza hut thing I knew a Pakistani who did that. Who would only hire Pakistani people in his business and pay them under the table. He saves a bit on tax, while the kids can finance their education. At the end of the day you can't generalize. White people want those jobs but they don't want to study for it. I work with a Ukrainian boss and a French owner, not many Indians so I don't know how good their technical skills are. But our company outsourced a project to a Pakistani in Pakistan so that's a good sign.

I know few incidents, where native americans helped white immigrants in winters, and then native red indians were massacred by same immigrants.

Now having said that, we pakistanis must understand that india is in asia, and we shoukd support any group of people who are strengthening asia.
 
These caste system stories from American IT industry are certainly intriguing as hell. Of course there is no smoke without fire and there may have been cases of discrimination, but it is certainly blow out of proportion.

My wife is the CFO of a mid sized IT company in India and their constant headache is not getting enough people to staff. Heck, they will hire a crocodile if it can code. Being selective about staff is unheard of in India. If you suggest something like this on LinkedIn people will be aghast and will troll you for spreading nonsense. Caste discrimination is virtually absent in the private sector in India. Other forms of favouritism may be present, like regionalism, but only in small companies nowhere close to being endemic.
Exactly, there is severe shortage of resources in India.

Wow this is exactly what happens as I have friends in Silicon Valley.

No Indian manager - when he gets to that post, will ever hire even other subcontinental folks like Pakistanis or Bangladeshis.

If they are compelled to - they MAY hire whites, but this is a one in a hundred situation.

These H1B people cry about prejudice and discrimination, but they are quite biased and discriminatory in hiring other non-Hindu people themselves, I am sorry to say.

Out of the dozen or so Bangladeshi friends I have working in Silicon Valley (almost all are highly placed brilliant a-listers from MIT/Harvard/Yale), all have had hundreds of mid-level manager interviews with companies like TCS, Infosys, WIPRO but never did even "one" land anything with Indian outsourcing companies. US contracting customers don't hold these backoffice people to hiring discrimination standards, which IMHO they should. These Indian companies are being paid for contract personnel which is easily 70% of the entire workforce of Silicon Valley. One type of visa (H1B) and only one country monopolizing it, India.

Of course my friends are not serious about working for these scammer outfits anyway. They know Indians will never give them jobs nor pay them proper salaries. These entire group of Indian back-office companies are just body-shops, and that too for cheap people who will only work at half the going rate.

I'd ask @RiazHaq bhai respectfully - to comment on this situation for Pakistanis in Silicon Valley as well.

Not only do they hate Pakistanis, but indians have a crazy MANIACAL, OBSESSIVE and ABNORMAL hatred of Pakistan and Pakistanis. The way indians hate us, NO OTHER group of people hate another the way indians hate us. Anyone who says otherwise is either incredibly naive or mentally retarded. You only have to look at the number of indian trolls on PDF and other Pakistani forums. A lot of gangus have made it their life's mission, even their own religion about fanatically hating Pakistan ad Pakistanis.
