US declares Lanka guilty of War Crimes Through Twitter : by Rapp

Visiting US Ambassador for Global Criminal Justice Stephen Rapp , who visited the Northern Massacre zones and tweeted pictures which is considered as declaration of War crimes. Sri Lankan foreign ministry officials say country’s master mind behind Tamil Genocide , US Green card holder Gottabaya Rajapaksa is angered at US envoy.

The US embassy posted on Twitter a photo of Rapp and its ambassador Michele Sison from the island’s former massacre zone , where more than 100,000 ethnic Tamils massacred , with the caption: “St Anthany’s Ground – site of Jan 2009 killing of hundreds of families by army shelling”.

“US diplomats in Colombo told AFP the tweet reflected Washington’s toughening human rights policy towards Sri Lanka.” This tweet reflects official government stance,” an embassy official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Sri Lanka continue deny that charges that up to 100,000 ethnic Tamil civilians were killed by the Srilankan forces that crushed Tamil rebels fought for recapturing the Tamil homeland. Sri Lanka maintains that not a single civilian was killed by troops and in November ordered a census of war casualties.

The country’s main Tamil political party has rejected the count as a sham and says it will collate its own figures.

1. Sri lankan foreign Ministry officials never made any such statement about the secretary of defence Gottabaya Rajapaksa.

2. If the Sri lankan foreign Ministry doesn't provide the secretary of defence a diplomatic passport, I don't know who it provides it too. The fact that Gottabaya Rajapaska is a US green card holder is completely untrue and ridiculous.

Regardless of the technicalities. The US diplomat has no business publicly stating his views on internal Lankan politics,, whatever they may be. He is the representative of the US in Sri Lanka and is doing a piss poor job of representing his country.
