Thanks for clearing the smog. No Air Force in the world can think that their Pilots are the best and can fly WW2 vintage aircrafts against an enemy which is hell bent on latest technology and have superior flying hours and training , when days of piloted A/Cs will soon be a thing of the past with UCAVs leading the spectrum!

we should never think about any of mirage taken from dubai because France refuse and break the deal of jf-17 thunder because of indian happiness and they also step back from nuclear deal now we should completely by cot any big deal from france like submarine, refales, and mirage 2000-9 from dubai.

The news of this thread that UAE was abt to buy Rafael n sell Mirages and 2011 is coming no confirmation of this deal is so far.

In my opinion Mirage 2000 - 9 are still very new n they are using very latest weapons....even they r still in French Air force....I dont think UAE is going to sell them till 2018.

Now some of ur saying that PAF will buy them.....Its not realestic...I must say that PAF Mirage ROSE are not that advance but still they are with respectable weapons. Beasides that JF-17 current and future avionics would be more economical and according to the need of PAF.
Looking to the IAF, PAF will not go for 4th generation AC's.

Absolutely nothing wrong with U.A.E Mirage 2000-9. These Mirage 2000-9 were delivered in 2003 totally new airframes, while the older ones were bought in 1983 and delivered till 1989 due to the order specified an Italian-made defensive avionics suite that delayed delivery.

U.A.E can still ask french to upgrade further these Mirages as for the Strike Role and Buy Rafales and French can have a better Deal out of it sadly france is more interested in making quick money and that has let to disastrous failed marketing of Rafale as well as Mirage2000 series upgrades for world's Air Forces. Look at the American F-16s going strong with Brilliant marketing and packages offered to old customers of F-16s, while french could do it but It didn't Just because Money is more important then reputation.

like the qatarese, UAE may also 'out-price' these mirages, but then the rafale deal is not 'in the bag' for the french!
