What's new

President of the UAE is talking about selling Mirage 2000-9 to Greece.

Is that why you've been nagging about "getting radar locked by Greek S-300s" all week? 😂😂😂

because that was illegal action in international airspace during NATO duty

every AD System can Radar lock from 120 km ....

.
Numerical superiority,but quality?

We added more missiles to our inventory with the Rafale deal

only in your dreams

Turkiye has its own defense industry to produce everything

-- GOKDOGAN - BOZDOGAN - GOKHAN air to air Missiles
-- SOM , CAKIR , KUZGUN-TJ Cruise Missiles
-- KGK-LR , SDB long range Bombs with IIR guided
-- AKBABA anti-radiation Missile

also all critical subsystems such as GaN based AESA Radar , EW Suite , IFF System , Datalink , Mission Computer , E/O Systems , targeting and jamming Pods

This is assuming the Americans will say yes to this. Because of so far,the Congress is categorically against selling them F-16Vs or helping them with other upgrades. And with the second batch of S-400,they might even impose more sanctions.

Turkiye has its own defense industry to modernize 35 F-16 block-30 to block70 standard

if USA says NO
Turkiye to modernize 79 F-16s to block70 standard with national Systems

stop dreaming and wake up ... Embargoes can only delay Turkish military projects
but nothing can stop the Turkish defense industry

OK so you still want to behave like a gay Greek plate smasher.

So glad the Turks took cyprus from you faggots
You are truly gay.

I get banned because unlike gay Greeks like u I don't suck D

You know, in psychology they say that when someone repeats the same characterization, it subtly means that he/she like it, but for social reasons he/she try to hide it.
It's the so-called refusal to accept who you are.

Don't be so daydreamer
All you say is "daydreamer, daydreamer". Aren't you tired of repeating the same words every day? Get a life. Stop being a salesman on PDF.

Turkiye to modernize 79 F-16s to block70 standard with national Systems
And when you run out of spare parts how will you fly them?

Don't ask him difficult questions, here, they don't have material to repair their F-16s.....

Both Air Forces are having similar quality as they are mostly fielding the same type of aircrafts (a few Rafales doesn't tip the balance at this point).

why would they be desperately want F-16Vs or Eurofighters ASAP,until they make their TFX? The sanctions have caused them problems with their fleet and they know it.

They are not desperately asking for F-16V. They have their money locked with the US and this would be the best outcome. Eurofighter was just fanboys, not actual official interest. Anyhow, Turkey is seeing that HAF is arming themselves, so naturally they are also looking into different options. Doesn't mean they are desperate.

Congress hasn't categorically or in any other way declined selling to Turkey. They are discussing the subject. Second batch of S-400 is not a thing - news were denied by Turkey.

That's why I said that we have the advantage in the air right now.

I don't see how you made that conclusion. Today, Turkey has the advantage. If Turkey fails to either get F-16V or to be successful with Ozgur, KE, TF-X then HAF will have the advantage from 2024 onwards.

I think u are already liberated. You seem to have studied this subject to the point. Perhaps you two can hook up if not already.

6 Rafale no,but by the end of the year they might be around 10 with some 8-9 F-16Vs. That does tip the balance in the air. Mirage 2000-5 Mk2,Rafale F3Rs,F-16Vs,F-16 Block 52+/Block 52+ Adv.

But they are! They desperately tried to get a mid-term solution until their TFX is in production. They asked for F-16Vs,they were rejected, then they said they could buy Su-35s and Su-57s if the Americans didn't give them any. Of course, they didn't. Then they asked for F-16s again from the Americans. Then they were thinking of getting Eurofighters from Britain.

For a country that constantly brags about how superior its military is from "tiny Greece",trying to buy new jets ASAP shows they started understanding that they might not have dominance in the air if they keep like this.

@Akritas could tell you more about how much they wanted those F-16Vs

Congress has already passed a vote to block any sales if the government tries to give them F-16Vs.

Second batch of S-400s is a thing because Erdogan and other officials keep mentioning it in their speeches. It's not official yet, there's no deal, but they keep talking about getting them.

That's why I said right now and not in the far future. If KE passes all tests,it MIGHT get in production by 2025. TFX is expected to be in production maybe in 2030.

And if the US keep the sanctions, they will have problems flying their F-16s. Rumor has it,they've already stockpiled spare parts, because they started slowly having problems with their fighter jet fleet.

Their biggest advantage are their UCAVs. We're zero when it comes to that compared to Turkey.

They desperately want not only 40 new F-16Vs block 70 but also to modernize 80 of the old ones block 50.
The reasons are .....

1- the failure of the Ozgur program to modernize the old F-16s,
But even if Ozgur move forward, it can cover only 30 aircraft, because Turkey has the source codes for F-16 block 30 and was able to integrate national avionics and systems.
But not the code from the old ones.

2- Greece until the end of 2027, will have 24 Rafale, 83 F-16V, a total number of 107 aircrafts of 4.5 generation fighters, and Turkey......NONE.
Already by the end of this year, Greece will have 12 Rafale and 12 F-16V.

Regarding Ozgur, you do not know what you're talking about. Ozgur is not a failure, the programme is moving forward with the AESA radar already undergoing testing on Akinci. You are right that Ozgur only applies to F-16 Block 30, of which Turkey has 35 units.

2027 is far into the future. By that time, Turkey could have 40-50 KE. In which case none of your 4 and 4.5 generation fighters would matter.

@Foinikas, 12 F-16V and 12 Rafale does not tip the balance of air power (in isolation) but it brings it to a parity. This is due to the fact that Turkey has the numerical advantage and their F-16s are slightly more advanced than HAFs at this current time.

How are they more advanced? They have Block 30/40/50/50+
We have 30/50/52+/52+ Adv. and already 2 F-16Vs

You're betting a lot on the KE. Plus by that time,we might even have the first F-35.
