Just saw Erdoğan's live speech about the operation. He quoted Atatürk's infamous line, "I order you to die, not fight". He tried to compare that to the fight in Idlib.

Look, I completely agree but those airstrike deaths over the past few weeks were simply a result of you meddling in military affairs. Those observation points were drawn up in those agreements by politicians. They offered zero benefits. It should have been obvious that they were massive risks.

Please allow the high command to do the right thing. No more agreements, no more ceasefires!
