TURKEY break dependence on Foreign Military Technology ( all projects with details )

Turkiye’s dependence on the American-made turbosaft engine is over

The first TEI-TS1400 engine suitable for manned flight will be delivered to TAI in 2022

and TAI will complete their integration with T-625 Helicopter to make the first flight In 2023

Turboshaft Engines in NATO

Turkiye was become a few countries in the world that developed its own Helicopter with turboshaft Engine

.
One of the best things that Turkieye did was to insist on local manufacture/TOT for manufacturing infrastructure of her weapons procurements programmes and also IN PARALLEL built up her resource of engineers through better education and investment in higher education like universities. This meant that Turkieye could also generate the engineers to develop the core Intellectual property once that manufacturing infrastructure has matured, and use that her own products and her own intellectual property.

This is where Pakistan failed with her TOT programmes and why things are stalled - she never invested in higher education or broadening her education base by educating her population to generate the next generation of engineers... this is why Azm failed after the completion of the JF17 programme from building up the manufacturing infrastructure - ie where are the education institutes that can help build Azm? Where is the pool of high quality engineers that can design Azm ?? Pakistan simply does not have the depth of pool of talent..

Top that off with the culture of "fauji" development involvement - and you are where we are now ...

Lol, you are in this defence forum for a few years now and you literally have no idea what you are talking about beyond regurgitating silly ranges off of Wikipedia.

Aselsan's EIRS (600km version) is far superior to India's Swordfish (600km version). Tell me why that is, even though both versions I picked have the exact same range?
why do you think is supirior?

Development of SOM-C1/SOM-C2 missiles with KEMENT national data link continue.
It is aimed to make significant progress in qualification activities by the end of 2022 and to complete the verification activities with firing tests in 2023

KEMENT PROJECT ( Network Enabled Weapon ) ... only a few countries in the world

The Kement project will boost the attack power, survival and flexibility of the cruise missiles with a data network that enables images to be transferred from a single target to multiple targets in air to air and air to ground
systems

This will allow the SOM-J and ATMACA Cruise Missiles to alter a target in flight and acquire a new one with its low altitude flight capability and small radar signature

It will add Midcourse guidance and two way communication capability for missiles

Turkiye’s dependence on the American AN/ALQ-211 V9 Electronic Warfare and Self protection pod is over

AN/ALQ-211 V9 USA
EHPOD Turkiye
SCORPIUS İsrael
KHIBINY Russia

TÜBİTAK-BİLGEM has started the qualification tests of the EHPOD/EDPOD Electronic Warfare and Electronic Support Pod to be used by F-16 Fighter Jets

its DRFM technology is optimized as the self-protection pod of the F-16s
The EHPOD System is able to provide users with “considerably more” effective radiated power than the AN/ALQ-211(V)9 Pod in the inventory of Turkish Air Force

EHPOD will enable F-16 to protect itself against air defense elements during joint operations

Turkiye’s dependence on the American AN/ALQ-178(V)3 Rapport III Electronic Warfare and Self protection Suite is over

60 CCIP modernized F-16C equipped with Aselsan SPEWS-II Self protection Electronic Warfare Suite

53 mass production systems
7 pilot systems

Integrated Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) and ElectronicCountermeasures (ECM) Suite providing the pilot with situational awareness and deceptive RF jamming.

With its radar warning receiver, the SPEWS-II system can detect radar signals coming from homing missiles and warn the jet's pilot. The system's electronic countermeasure capabilities allow it to confuse the signals that enable missiles to find planes and to deceive the missiles by sending signals showing the aircraft in different locations.

The protection against radar-guided missile threats will be especially useful in Turkiye's cross-border operations
