All support and efforts made by people on ground and online wasted for nothing!!

they probably threatended to kill of the rest of the family....the only solution is to quillotine all the feudals and robber barons...so they have no power any more...

I don't say that Rangers guys are innocent. They exceeded their authority but they should only be punished for what they committed not what had been shown on television channels through edited movie and surprisingly no one talks about the TV channel which provided edited movie to other channels. Justice should be done on facts not through distorted evidences.

First of all, the rangers personnel know extremely well that they should not aim their loaded weapon at anyone especially not at an unarmed civilian. Secondly, they have no excuse for using such lethal force unless they are under mortal threat or defending a similar situation against armed adversaries, and not on an unarmed civilian who is already pleading and begging for mercy. They all deserve to be hanged (actually beheading is the better and preferred punishment, as per Islam) but in any case, they deserve capital punishment even more so because these armed executioners are there to protect and serve.

If you see the original video, it can be easily ascertained that Mr Sarfaraz was caught red handed with a gun and trying to rob a woman. Later he under the cover of pleading was trying to get hold of ranger's gun. In such scenario fire by the soldier is well justified. Moreover, he was not shot to kill. He was shot in the lower part of the body to immobilise him against any possibility of snatching the gun from soldier.

Media has misrepresented the case only because that criminal was brother of a journalist.

but whats more intersting is the misuse of islamic law. Islamic law of forgiveness is limited to Qasas only. not tazeer so in other words even though he should not be tried for murder now as his family forgave him but according to tazeer some sort of punishment or imprisonment has to be given.
its obvious that the partial implementation of islamic laws is merely for fuedals and high ups

this is one of the reason of the highest kill rate in pakistan and especially in KPK

i think anybody who is forgiven should still be sentensed to atleast 10-20 years. though he should nt be hanged

He can very well be tried under state law. Especially when in this case where his family was not the plaintiff, instead it was state. So family has pardoned, state can still hang him

yes but the parents can challenge in shria court that so most likley he will walk free not spending a day in jail.
the govt should use a single system with pardoning meaning no hanging but some imprisment. This will give power to parents and family as well as allowing atleast some sort of punishment.
it will also keep hang rate low. we may also see most people forgiving the murders as they will be satisfied that atleast some sort of punishment will be done

You are right but tehre is another part of a story , rangers are not police, so they are not trained to not to fire if someone is grabbing their gun.
secondly did he had a taser? ofcourse not..the people here to blame are the govt using rangers instead of police and then not giving proper equipment or procedural training

Hanging for murder in cold blood should remain. Especially in this case. He was stopped by a brother for sister being teased. As a result brother was killed. If an example is not made then tomorrow you and me will be reluctant to stop any misbehaviour with girls because the teaser will know that he can kill and still get be free to do it again by paying money.

As far as his parents are concerned. They were helpless until youngsters came on street and pressurised for an FIR. Had they been alone, they would have been kicked like football. Therefore, its not them who were able to get the case registered and they owe it to those who came to streets to get justice.

In this scenario, they solely do not have a right to take the decision. By taking this decision they have endangered lives of those who bore witness.

islamic law of forgiveness was put forward to maintain a balance system unlike system of hanging everybody and hanging nobody(like European union)
what i was saying that islamic system is abused because of partial implementation and non implementation of any tazeer allowing people to completly walk free. he should have been atleast sentenced to some imprisment

Dude he wasn't begging for mercy, he may have been time and again latching to grab one of the weapons, he was a criminal caught with a weapon that can be seen and accepted by him in complete video. The tv channel and the people behind the edited video which agitated people's sentiment must also be taken care of. Definitely Rangers guys should be punished but not for the crime as established by edited video. The court must examin complete video and decide whatever is just. Otherwise everyday an AH like Sikander would stand on the road and no police or rangers guy would fire a sniper round instead would ask for a written order which pinches at the highest level.

What I have gathered from your post so far:

1) Sarfaraz was caught red handed, robbing people at gun point, with a weapon.
2) Sarfaraz repeatedly attampted to grab the gun from the Rangers Personnel.
3) Media broadcasted only edited video and the complete video was never broadcasted.
4) The ATC handed capital punishment to atleast 1 of the Rangers Personnel, however they had watched only the edited video and had handed out capital sentencing based on engineered evidence.
5) There were political forces involved in all of the above.

1) Sarfaraz was allegedly caught, with a toy gun!!
2) Sarfaraz was almost dragged by the scruff of his neck to the rangers personnel and that too by a lone plain clothed policeman, he was unable to defend himself against 1 plain clothed person but attempted repeatedly to grab the gun from the Rangers Personnel. So let this be a moment of realization for you, Sarfaraz made not a single attempt to grab the gun off the Rangers Person, he merely attempted to divert the aimed nozzle away from his face and then away from his body!!
3) Complete video of the whole episode was aired almost daily when the news was hot and again when the sentencing was announced.
4) It is very stupid to assume that the courts did not have access to the actual video, the unedited version. Perhaps you believe that the ATC judge had to go through the advertisement sponsored news, just to let you know, the ATC received the video from the source, unedited! The sentencing was carried out after review of the actual footage as well as testimonies of witnesses!
5) We expect political influence to ensure justice is served, especially when the DG Rangers was in full action to protect his death squad!
