And Tejas wont have WVR & BVR ?You can compare the radar,WVR &BVR Air to Air Missiles both aircraft are going to carry.

Well I must admit, Pakistanis have a point. Rather than going solo...they did the best thing...went for JV and have got themselves an operational fighter. To some extent it is also a result of the armed forces being in command of the project. However DRDO with an inflated ego not only asked for any help but didn't even bothered to reply back people who were willing to help..the mess LCA is in .... is all because of Babus occupying places where an armed force personnel should be. There is no point comparing JF-17 with LCA. JF-17 is an operational fighter that has been inducted, and block 2 will soon be inducted too. As far as LCA is concerned all we got are the TD's....and a series of dates (tarikh). Mk-1 was supposed to be inducted in 1998, then it became 2000, 2003.....and now its end of 2014 and all India has is another date.

A plane is not supposed to get IOC until the first squadron is active. Only in India does a developmental plane get IOC
