Senior Bihari Hindu Service Officer Granted Domicile in Jammu and Kashmir Region

His stance is rather irrelevant, if anything is any legal value it's the Maharaja's accession to India. If Kashmiri leadership had shown much resistance then it would have been a Union territory a long ago.
@HRK Why the negative rating? Any explanation?
@mods @AgNoStiC MuSliM

I am guessing intention of GOI is for political engineering by making Jammu atleast half of J&K population in the coming census 2021. And then they'll carry out constituency demarcation based on that census.
At most, they can do that for non-Kashmir regions but even then no one likes hordes of outsiders. Moreover, what's space/resources/infrastructure/industry/jobs are there which can support such sudden growth of population that too in concentrated in non-Kashmiri/Hindu regions?

I don't believe his stance was irrelevant, not in the early stages of the conflict anyway. Now of course it doesn't matter.
Man, they could have always bought a new leader if he didn't obliged. There was no insurgency then till 89'.

Its just Pakistani culture. There's a reason why Pakistan has the highest amount of per capita violence in South Asia.
Really sonny
Rich coming from the bhakts who did Delhi riot not in some small city but capital of nation while trump was visiting

And where even Corona give hindutva fanatics to lynch and attack minorities
And beef lynching going on for years

He was arguably the most popular Kashmiri leader at that time, if he had joined his voice with that of Pakistan, I am sure things would have been very different in the subsequent wars and situations.

@HRK is just trigger happy when it comes to negative rating. He thinks it gives him some power over you. All of my negative ratings (30 as of now) were given by him. I take it as a complement though. He is a simple man, if he doesn't like the comment he gives a negative rating. That's all.
I respect a lot of other senior members who use their ratings very diligently and often debate and discuss to counter any point. Whats the point otherwise just to rate down everything you dont like on a public forum. Btw, I also think if something is hidden people are more likely to click and read it.

He was popular, no doubt but was he irreplaceable? I don't think so but yeah, better agree to disagree.

Sir, it's not just Sheikh Abdullah. Kashmiris too till '89 didn't show a will to fight India. They didn't support us in 1965. Or had they just stood up in rebellion in 1948 when the Maharaja joined India.

I bet you they don't want to join Pakistan even today. They want an independent nation. Kashmiris will turn out to be another Afghanistan situation for you if you support their independence.

They havent in any war. They didnt in 1999. Even today they help the police and CRPF by providing information on the militants and terrorists.
We need to give them more political space and voice in the civil discourse. And not let it get hijacked by some legacy party who have never looked after the Kashmiri cause or their welfare.

Sorry to say they hate you now.

They'll make sausages out of your intestines and we would gladly help them.

Yeah yeah idli sambar nice prediction.

We have almost controlled Afghanistan. Something the US couldn't do. And gladly kicked you out of there.

We will do the same in Kashmir.

I am sorry to say too

If that was the case, they would have already been a part of Pakistan now.

I don't think so. 1989 started a vicious cycle of tit for tat of with more than 50k civilians dead, we need some to deal it with peacefully with the goal of taking demography in confidence.

"Controlled" is a strong word

@Protest_again @BL33D

Our goal isn't just Kashmir now. It's dismemberment of India mayya and her sanctity. We will take Bharat Mata's saree, pull her pallu off of her chest and pull out something from her......(the rest I will not say because it will be too misogynistic). China will be joining us
Give me a timeline if you are that serious in your assertions. Because people long before you have made such claims since 70 years.
And that articulation deserves a clap.
#facepalm
