While a good gesture, I do agree it's a bit pathetic how they had to get permission for the surgery just because she was Iranian...

No need to use this as propaganda, its a shame already that they ask the king whether to treat her cause shes Iranian.

Whether her or anyone else, Saudi Arabia doesn't discriminate based on nationality and religion. I think true humanity knows no boundaries. you?

Anyway, as only citizens are eligible for free health care, her case was referred to the royal office for approval as that is the procedure followed in the country.

Peace

I guess you're talking about Faisal's Hospital, right? If so, then yes. Only Saudi cancer patients can get there, others will need to be deferred to other Hospitals such as Salman's and Saud's..

At any rate, Faisal is too busy.. It takes ages to get there..

Yes Im referring to FSRC. Her case needs urgent health care. If her case was stable she would have been referred to KFNCCC.

I hope she gets well soon though.

@Doritos11 That was during the US invasion of Iraq.

@Arabian Legend

Can other GCC(ers) get cancer treatment in KSA?

Another question, why do all Saudis go to Faisal's while other Hospitals can do the same job?

It means that KSA never had a problem with Iraqis, but with the Bathist regime, and it means that KSA has shown its goodwill :) unlike the accusations you've made up.

Problem with the 1990 war*, they loved the Iran-Iraq war, goodwill is kicking Americans out of the ME, now the other countries have to follow this example.
