Well the frigate could have launched some kind of retaliatory attack against a few of your patrol boats or even against mainland Iran. Or the sailors could have resisted and fought. etc. But obviously that would have been ridiculous.
They could have certainly caused some damage. You see?

He was blown up by the IRA along with his grandson. An extremly bad end for a person who abused the power God had given him. Had he done the (indian) partition right he might have been spared such a horrific end.

Conclusion: The brits used to say " The sun never sets in the british empire" and committed atrocities right, left, and center. Today they are having trouble holding on to the scots! Yet they go gallivanting about murdering innocent people!!

Don't talk about freedom for the Iraqis from Saddam, when you cant even reign in the monster you created - Israel. Who commits atrocities on a daily basis, and has been doing so blatantly for the last 63+ years, but yet you protect him at every level.

in that incident if my memory served me well those British soldiers only
equipped with their rifles and Their boat were the ones that you use in sports
the ones that you fill with air but Iran send for them 8 fast boat that were
equipped with DShKM and each boat have 6-7 armed soldiers .

and more importantly they were far away from their mother ship and the
ship had no sight of them so if they wanted to use their cannon there was
great chance to target their own soldiers . Also they could not attack Iran
mainland because I guess it's more like a joke if a frigate want to attack
mainland (I don't count Lebanon before 2006 because at the time they
had nothing to retaliate with)
