I didn't vote for either because I personally have no issues with members posting irrelevant stuff as long as it's not in the wrong section. But what defines sexually-explicit? Visible shoulders are OK for some but too much for others. How will the red-lines be decided?

YES in my personal opinion these should be allowed because fashion is a big industry and both Pakistan and India has a noticeable role in this field.
As far as sexually explicit content is concerned well many may find a deep neck skirt as sexually explicit while many might find it as fashion statement . So lets leave it to everybody's own taste.

The only thing we need to control here is the limit crossing or tharki pan of some members.

Many topics which you have mentioned have been banned to avoid flame wars.

Since Indians are a big part of this forum and also this topic is universal and not internal national affair hence we should also take their opinion
When you have these kinds of threads (fashion, etc..) you cannot control who it attracts or does not attract. And most likely the perverted mindset types would be attracted the most. Thus, in a defence forum, where only strategic and defence related issues are discussed, such nonsense has no place whatsoever and will only serve to degrade the forum's reputation and cause reputable members to leave.

@Desert Fox
Molvi kia thread start kerdi, Now get ready politically correct brigade and seculars of Pakistan to attack you :argh:

You should elaborate on what type of content should be banned.
Why do you care what they think ....look around yourself if you live in any metro city and think again ... These Pakistan is posters are right It's not their culture.

Sexually suggestive content is banned on the forum, but define appropriate dresses to inappropriate dresses varies from people to people.
Do these threads serve any purpose to defence and strategic affairs??Do they contribute to defence related topics??

If sexually suggestive, fashion, etc type threads are permitted then i believe threads with war footage, poverty related topics, and rape epidemic should also be allowed. Fair and square am i right??

Long time mate! On topic, sexually suggestive content as per our respected maulvis is defined as

"Any female whose one protein chain is exposed to photons is *sexually explicit*!"

:D

LOL. No. I know his mindset, if he were allowed to roam free, he'd make his cat and dog wear a hijab.......... if you want TTP / Taliban / ASWJ / LeJ etc etc rolled into one, you get @Desert Fox!

And the sad part is he resides in the US of A........ hopefully he catches the eye of FBI / CIA / MI6 or our very own ISI! :D
I have seen him praising USA(whites of USA many times), bashing imigrant Muslims. Now how does that indicates that he is TTP ideology lover?

Views may change over time. I have seen many of my friends praising mullah burka and TTP in 2007-8 and now those same guys are staunch anti-TTP.

What is the norm in Pakistani society? Do take a look at the first page of this thread and tell me does the average Pakistani man or woman dress this way on a day to day basis in the streets, schools, market places, jobs and offices, etc..?:

This is a Pakistani defence forum, thus its first purpose should be to represent the values of 200 million Pakistanis and second purpose should be only to allow defence related discussions.
