There are Muslims in India that think the State will save them from Hindutva, but they overlook the numerous times that the State has not just refused to intervene but has actively supported ensuing pogroms against minorities. If Hindus want Muslims of today to pay for whatever 'sins' they think they need to atone for then just remember, one day in the future, your own children will be paying for what you do now.
