PN ise subs for offence in enemy territory……

Chinese subs have some impressed capability in relatively small cost,but they are quite noisy and poor service records(western experts says,not me) and they have very little presence in world arms market(I doubt any country ever bought a chinese sub)..but Pakistan can easily buy Agosta or Type-212/214 and other leading subs in world market right now..though it might cost like hell..

SSG(N) personnel on a X-Craft (SX-756 Class) midget submarine during a training exercise. The X-Craft course that is taught to SSG(N) personnel has a 32 week duration out of which 12 weeks are spent on theory and 20 weeks on practical exercises.

it was reported earlier that India would buy few Midget subs for MARCOS in 2009..there was no report on it yet,status unclear(might have bought it,though no mention on public).though India has few AUV..Midget subs are a formidable foe in shallow water...

I think PN, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman and Jordan should join in with Germans to do JV on three type of submarines like:
U-214 type SSK
Andrasta type small SSK
Special Forces Submarine that will be deployed through tanker/support ships.

PAK should aim for a agile sophisticated small navy even when U have no shortages of funds in the future. Greater funding will enhance technological edge and spare resources for developing indigenous platforms. PAK should look toward building a strong and large submarine fleet (6-8 Subs) along with 10-12 midgets subs. A sub fleet will help fend off a naval blockade of karachi or Gwadar port. Lots of fast attack crafts with huge fire power for litoral war fare and bringing down large war ships. 8-10 chinese frigates specializing on ASW and some turkish guided missile corvettes for off shore patrol. The Naval air arm should look for 10-12 J16/J15 for long range strike beyond 2025. It would be a small but a lethal navy. Just my 2 cents.
