Kornet is way more advance then Baktar Shikan. I doubt Mi35 can launch Kornet.Respected member for LOC we already have sufficient stocks of Bakter Shikan ATGMs with relatively lower cost. The Kornet looks to be either acquired to arm Mi35s or to tackle the modern MBTS on ground. May be first batch after that we may get more. On other hand can any one clear how many Mi35s are in use as 4 were delivered against initial order meanwhile there were news that Pakistan ordered more.
More Kornet and a PLA 'javelin' type ATGM being looked at.
numbers are too low we need at least 300 units man
Don't underestimate Mizrek-O series they are made based on very proven tech, only thing Money offer over Mizrek-O & HJ-8 is 1200mm penetration & 5km range but Mizrek-O can be fired from behind obstacles and fire & forget system allowing more engagement in less time or rapid change in position to avoid counter fire.
Don't you think HJ-12 will be way cheaper?Pakistan has already been producing wire guided TOW equivalent missile system but I think Kornet-E is a battle proven option If you seek a laser beam guidance. If It is about fire/forget IIR guidance, It will be a pleasure for OMTAS/Mizrak-O to serve for Pakistani army.

Would Turkey consider licensing technology to Pakistan?Cheaper is not always better. Important thing is to meet the requirement of costumer with a reliable technology under a competitive price tag but It seems Pakistan will make a great competition to judge the performance of Chinese, Russian and Turkish ATGM.
Pakistan and Turkey have already discussed to make OMTAS trials to see how OMTAS is going to perform under the scenarios Pakistani Military officials will form. The source mentioned that trials will be done for Pakistani ATGM profurement program. It is also said that It will be done until the end of 2019.

Pakistan could try buying Ukranian Skif ATGM instead with TOT.
That is what I said, I'm sure it would be great for the army and able to take on any threat posed by Indian armored vehicles. Why not Top Attack Capable Missile

Hope Pakistan is thinking of that,That is what I said, I'm sure it would be great for the army and able to take on any threat posed by Indian armored vehicles.
