Pakistan-China Joint Air Force Exercise "Shaheen-IX 2020"

Like US does in Europe, it could be that in future PLAAF do so many "exercises" and "deployments" that J-10s are stationed in Pakistan by default. Avoids PR hassle of PLAAF having "bases" in Pakistan.

Hard to say without qualifying size, could even be Y-20 transport looking at shape and colour.
Doubt that. Chinese would rather take the country entirely than just a base in a certain part of the country.

heck, pakistan should just trade the f-16s it has for an equal number of j-10s. china get a good deep look and can use it for opfor training. pakistan gets new, better jets and simplified logistics and freedom to use its warplanes unlike the limits on the f-16s. of course this will pisse off the us to no ends and lead to sanctions.
Thanks but to tell the truth PLA knows everything about f16s. Plenty of 'taiwanese' have loyalties to PRC and have given China everything they need to know about ROCs defences especially the f16s. When or if PLA attacks taiwan, they would never know what hit them.

Negative. We'd have seen reverse engineered copies by now. Look at the FC-31, front is an X-35 whereas the rear section is a YF-22. They want to know more about F-16s but they ain't that lucky to get their hands on. Plus it is often the other way around, plenty of PLAAF chaps have defected to Taiwan.

Indians will tell you that they do that too with F-16's of the Singaporean Air Force, yet they still haven't decoded the F-Sholainci Code.
not that i am undermining the skills of Singaporean air force pilot skills but its like you are asking me to take the place of lewis hamilton. Thats what the skill difference is between us and them (singaporeans). My two pennys.

Have heard lately that the Chinese government have been pressuring Pakistan to acquire J-10s. It seems more on their demanded side to supply them in a similar way to FMS programs, but in installments.
