South Africa expressed a desire to seek Pakistan help in restoring and updating its air force. Chief of the Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force PAF, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, recently met with a high-level defense delegation from South Africa in Islamabad under the direction of Acting Secretary of Defense Dr. Thobekile Gamede, the two nations military ties will be strengthened as a result of this conference, which focused on areas of shared interest and looked into potential new aircraft cooperation opportunities.
