Mystery deepens over Su-30MKI that crashed

as far as I know, there is no way Russian K-36DM can eject pilot automatically.but as IAF reports,in few instants,it appeared that it ejected automatically or it may be the case that somehow pilots ejecting them accidentally.there was case of faulty switches which crashed a couple SU-30 before.K-36 DM is very reliable Ejection Seat as far as I know.
If I remember correctly, the switches were not faulty, but were wrongly positioned. The pilots had to turn back to use them. This was cleared later.

As per @isro2222 claims

Important to note that Su-30 has only been crashing ever since local production started. When we directly imported from Russia it was all good. When you give a bunch of morons kits to assemble and assembly lines to setup shit will happen. But then this is India where "indigenous production" is given more importance than national security

Is it possible the russians could control the ejection button using some virus?? You should never trust anyone close eyed... Or am I being hysterical?

Trust me buddy, you are being hysterical:D

first of all there have been only a total of 5 Sukhoi crashes

so there are some doubtful statements

1. The IAF says that there have been many instances of Auto Ejection problems reported in the past

now there are only a total of 5 instances of crash reported for Sukhoi so if IAF claim is true then there should have been more crashed - you dont expect the Plane to fly and land safely by itslef if both the pilots have been Auto Ejected out of plane ?

2. In 3/5 cases of crash the reason has been established to be other than auto ejections

3. Now BlackBox data is not available / or being hidden to know actual reason

4. One of the Pilot involved is a repeat crasher - he was also involved in earlier crash of Sukhoi

The IAF story doesnt sound strong about problems with Sukhoi - seems to be something else

How does the Air force make sure the planes or equipments they buy are not bugged? A virus could lie dormant for decades and then activated at the right time...

Okay, what about b/w 2012 and now?
Like I said, that is the latest data that is available to the public. But 2012-14 has not seen a spike in crashes, if anything we are not seeing as many crashes as we used to before 2012 so the crash rate is definitely coming down no matter what way you look at it.

What nonsense- this plane was one of the ones delivered directly from Russia!

Don't trust the BS the Indian media is coming out with on this matter, wait until the IAF finishes their investigations.

The Su-30's are having these serious system integration issues on and off it seems. Perhaps HAL needs to go back and look at the underlying software and hardware they've wired up. The Hud and Screen failures last year should only support this approach.

One plausible reason for the voice recorder not being active would be that in those minutes something was triggered that told the aircraft that ejection had occurred.

But what about the FDR?

Plus, if this was a case of forced ejection by the flight computer, then they need to check the software that why did it deem ejection the only plausible scenario?

Was there no input from the pilot, so perhaps the FCS assumed that pilots have blacked out, and hence plane is headed for crash? Or couldn't the auto-pilot attempt to pull up? It's not like Su30 MKI doesn't have enough thrust to arrest the sink rate and shoot for the skies.

Depends on the rate of decent. Again, in this case it seems that software may have simply read it correctly and decided to shoot the men out of the sky. But it is odd that it came out soo late as a problem. My guess is something went wrong at depot level maintenance and the pilots had to pay for it by the free parachute ride and the loss of a valuable asset.

Maybe done on purpose to keep local production from taking off!
