It is nothing but the State Govt. trying to save money to use it elsewhere.

School kids should not be fasting to begin with because it can hamper their growth.

Yupz, other minister from the same party who issued circular that Muslim girls can marry at the age of 16..Mid Day meal scheme is funded by Central government also.. You just cannot cut money from it for some other project.. Find some other excuses..

Not really my friend. You can't blame secularism in general, it has got more to do with the secularism you practice which is giving bad name to it.

In secularist democracy you get to choose if you wish to do something or not, not the other way around.

We have the same problem with the Islam we follow, we have made some strange amendments to it such that it has lost it's true spirit.

Because in India Secularism does not mean equal treatment of all.

The police have registered a case of unnatural death after Singh's body was found to have injury marks.

Satnam Singh, who had been missing from his native place Gaya since May 30, was caught from Amritanandamayi's ashram in Kollam on August 2. According to the police, while the saint was giving darshan to her devotees, Singh moved to the stage reciting Arabic words. He was overpowered and was handed over to the police.
