This could be a 1/5th scale model that I know exists. I suspect this is that model because it was tested for some high-alpha maneuvers (outside JF-17s normal flight envelope).

Rumors have been circulating about a new Chinese engine with TVC and that it may be used to power JF-17 future blocks. These rumors really gained momentum with J-10B flying with a TVC engine at Zhuhai Airshow - 2018 and now it appears that we may have our first photographs of two TVC engine powered JF-17 flying in synchronization and performing a falling leaf maneuver.

If these engines get operational with JF-17s, it will give massive boost to PAF capabilities and will be see as a major step forward not only in current war fighting capability but also for the ambitious fifth generation fighter plan envisioned under Project Azm.
