well, cant say if these pics are real or PS but one thing is for sure, if we do want the JFT to be the real back bone and main stay of PAF in years to come, we surely need more hard points.
this is the thing that interests me the most.
perhaps 11 hard points is asking for a bit too much but nine will do great (four on each wong + 1 under fuselage) along with a small one for electronic POD!
carrying two fuel tanks, we surely want our main fighter to carry at least four BVRAAM along with two WVRAAM.
this will make it into a true multi role fighter capable of defending itself, aggression against enemy airborne threats and perhaps ground/naval attack with a missiles mounted under fuselage.

This might not be old but why are they painting JFT green all over again. Also this is the block-1 which we are to discontinue.. what is the point in painting and presenting it at this time when Block-II is on the horizons ?

He was referring to the JF-17. In Xracer's defense its not his fault, he wasnt trying to troll. He asked the question that what generation the JF-17 belonged to, in another thread, and an ill-informed member of ours gave him some senseless reasons which made it, according to him, a 3rd gen aircraft.

LAST PIC IS REAL ONE?!

Last pic is a PS definitely because
1- There is no sign of prototyping i.e. Chinese usually start with Yellow or dark green colour
2- The body seems to be clean, no data probs, pilot tube etc....
3- Full weapons load.....usually dummy missiles are used to stimulate the weapons load

The open canopy of the JF17(yellow) in the above pics that the techs are dragging out of the assembly area looks different.... longer canopy if you look closely and makes me wonder if this is the first 2-seat variant. Still I think they could not have come up with a 2 seat version so quickly after indications of going ahead with it. What do you guys think?

Kamra, these pictures were taken during T&E flight of first batch thunders, they were later assigned to 26 Sqn, now all those initial JF-17 examples are reassigned to 16 T&E Sqn at same place.
