Vietnam gotta mount weapons to our Vietnamese fishing boats these days and shoot back at the intruders who threaten our sovereignty.

Obviously China wants to have a reason (a way) to go to War with Vietnam but Vietnam is patiently trying to negotiate with China to settle South Sea dispute. However, China refused to cooperate with Vietnam to resolve this issue and make this matter worse by harassing Vietnamese fishermen. But there's a solution.

Wrong again! China destroyed the Japanese military in WW2 by killing 500,000 of its soldiers in China. USA did very little in comparison. All USA did was kill some civilians with bombs. Chinese even went to Burma to save British-occupied india. Today, China occupies Japanese Empire territories like Manchuria and Taiwan. Because of China's great victory, we are a P5 security council member.

This is not to say Chinese didn't resist, but what broke Japan on the mainland was the Soviet Union, and what broke them at sea was the US.

China was allowed onto the council by the US to check colonial ambitions in the far east. Of course who we (and the Soviet Union) originally looked to was India but they refused.... so yea, China was second hand goods compared to India.
