our OPV serves "Flag ship" of some navy.I don't think Vietnam should get "Lightly Armed" version of Indian OPV,which suits us fine,but Vietnam needs "Heavily Armed Version" of it.they could always get armed with "Cruise Missiles" along with Ship launched missiles and torpedos or anti sub rockets.or they can surely get upgraded main gun which could serve them well.plus,you'll never know if we give you guys top of the line OPVs on phantom "Credit Line",which will actually be a India sponsored project.

Why not try to seek patrol ships from nearby ship builders? Indonesia can provide them with far cheaper pricetags, Philippines is buying ships from Indonesia.

Catamaran ships like this are quite handy when you prefer both speed and agility on the seas, also it has helideck for light to medium choppers. Domestic price without radars and weapons, (only hull and engine) is USD 4 - 7 million dollars, export price might be higher but it shouldn't be more than 10 mil.

or simply fast patrol boats like this, which can be weaponized with 20mm CIWS and carry 2-4 AShM if necessary

Or you prefer bigger platform but not too big

With 50 million dollars you can have more than 30 of those ships, weaponize them with AShM and swarm them on the sea. Eventhough you lost one two three of them during a mission, the lost will not be too costly
