India cannot challenge China in SCS although we rule in Indian ocean but we can help you in manufacturing your own frigates,destroyers and submarines locally in Vietnam(instead of just buying from us) that will really send a strong message to China that Vietnam is no pushover but first you have to help yourself by making your economy strong and having a sustainable growth rate then we can really think of this

Don't get me started. Japan chased, harassed, and arrested our fisherman anytime we fish there prior to the dispute. Paracel is our island under administration and these Vietnamese fisherman fish in its vicinity without our consent. Now you see these Vietnamese are crying that we harass them? Get the hell out of the area if they don't want us to harass them.

@xunzi Lets agree that Islands are administered by China but China is a big and rich country with 9 trillion dollar economy and 4 trillion dollar foreign reserves,even if you allow some Viet fisherman to fish near that islands your country wont die unlke Vietnam which is mainly a poor country(like most of the Asian countries).

Also what justification do you give of China backstabbing Vitnam during America-Viet war??

Its very less,if Vietnam manages to increse its GDP to atleast 1 trillion dollars then only it can deter China otherwise no amount of help from any country will stop China annexing its lands.

no worry. Vietnam is current pouring massive money into infrastructure. Currently on the way:

power generation: 10 nuclear power plants, 10 therme power plants
4 new oil refineries, and 1 gas refinery planned
metro lines in Hanoi and Saigon, and many more in projects later in other cities
1,900km North-South Express way, and many more in other cities
upgrading the current railway, and perhaps soon a high speed rail North to South
tourism: hotels, casinos, resorts
airports, sea ports, roads, economics zones
manufacturing fabrics producing everything for the world market
a modern agriculture able not only to feed Vietnam, but many others

the key to the success is Japan. We need to work and cooperate closer with the Japanese. They know how a country to become a modern economy. Thus the many visits of Vietnam to Japan. In 2020 Vietnam would no longer be a backward country. Who cares of how much GDP of Vietnam would be by then.

Of course it so wrong, we draw a map abt Paracel and Spratly islands first, some of officials in China dynasty also confirm Paracel and Spratly islands belong to VN. We have full evident to support our claim. Thats why China dare not face with VN in international court abt dispute in SCS(east sea).

VNese and Chinese-Thai have long conflict. Chinese- Thai King supported Khmer Rouge to kill lots of VNese. We need to teach them a lesson. We failed to punish them in 1979 due to war with China and sanction from US . But US is getting weaker now, Russia still fully support to VN. Lets see what will happen to those Chinese-Thai in the near future.
