You highlighted a good point in the article, however who's fault is it ultimately that today Pakistanis are being killed? Is it Iran's fault that our borders are not properly secured? Is it America and NATO's fault that Pakistanis are being killed in drone strikes? Is it the fault of others that we let them walk over us and use us for their own gains? Who are the sell outs?

First it was NATO, than it was Afghans, and now its Iranians who kill our citizens, who's next in line? india? For Gods sake we're supposed to be a "nuclear" power, the "strongest" Islamic country (military wise) and we can't even defend our own, we're nothing but a big fat joke!!!! A country of hypocrites, sellouts, cowards, no wonder overseas Pakistanis are even ashamed to call themselves Pakistanis and would rather be called indian (the enemy).

Having nuclear weapons don't mean much if the politicians decided it aint worth it based on the situation in this case the death of 6 Pakistani citizens. Does Afghanistan deserved to be nuked because of 9/11? Why didn't Bush nuke it when we are a nuclear power? Why does Russia not nuke Chechnya?

I am sorry if you get that vibe from me. But please feel free to go see for yourselves for example in other forums where Iranians meet Arabs and see how the discussions roles out. Hell even in a site such as memebase when there is a pic that is making fun of Iran or the usual western people mistake of filing Iranians as Arabs see the comments for yourself. I understand that the internet is no place to judge any people with but still that is what I felt coming out of Iranians in general.

Your lack of value for human life is disgusting and it's something that could really backfire in the near-future. Don't expect any pity from the outside world when the world powers start bullying you militarily.

There are some things that aren't meant to be defended. When something goes wrong and it shows your country in a bad light, learn to calm down -- take it in. There's no need to get so passionate, egoistic, and patriotic. Those guys were not smugglers -- unless they were planning to smuggle goats into Iran.

Indeed. As I said they are not professional soldiers. Most of them or I should say 99% of them are ordinary Iranian boys from ages between 19 to 30 that are just doing their military service and they never want to be a soldier ever again in their lives. So you're right that they lack professional training.

I believe Iranians have nothing against Pakistanis and they respect Pakistan too. The majority of Iranians don't know much about Pakistan because we don't hear bad things from Pakistan in the media. We only read things about Pakistanis protesting against the USA and the US bombing of Pakistan. I think Pakistan is behaving rationally. If these guys were not smugglers, then Iran will look bad, not Pakistan. If they were smugglers, Pakistan will look good because it has understood the Iranian concern about border security and drug smuggling. It's a win-win situation for Pakistan, while it's a lose-win situation for Iran.

I wasn't implying that we should nuke Iran, Afghanistan, or any country for that matter, but is it ok for other countries to shoot our people and all we do is apologize and make empty promises? This isn't the first time Iranian border guards entered Pakistani territory and shot and killed Pakistanis, ANA has also done the same repeatedly, so has NATO, in fact tell me what country with honor and self respect will tolerate it when 24 of its soldiers and officers are butchered by another country? And that too repeatedly!! Keep in mind that Pakistani solder were butchered in many incidents before the Salala incident.

What good is a army of a country if it can't protect its own citizens?
