Iranian border guards kill 6 Pakistanis

I would like to challenge you in this statement. So far the most racist people I have ever met online were Iranian. The moment they know you are an Arab you should brace yourself for the most derogatory insults known in history.

I don't care if you want to challenge me or not. I see you in a position that I prefer not to discuss anything with you because from your posts on the forum I've seen that you usually don't discuss things in a constructive manner.
Also, the forum is full of your hatred against Iran. But you can check all of my posts and see if I ever have insulted Arabs. So what you say might be true about you, but it can't be applied to me as an Iranian.

If you change your way of discussing things and turn it into a more constructive and positive way I'll be willing to answer to your challenges, but for now I think it will just be a waste of time because your purpose of bringing this issue up is not to get informed, but to spread your hatred. I'm sorry.

I would reiterate what Iranzamin has said.

1. These people were on the Iranian soil. so Iranian laws can be applied to them and because they were ordinary citizens and not Pakistani officials I doubt Pakistan could condemn Iran for that based on legal grounds. the same is true if the same case happens to Iranian civilians crossing into the Pakistani border and I say that from the perspective of law.

2. Some people think that Iranian guards should first arrest them and put them on trial. That's not how we do it. It's our little rule for the world. If you cross the Iranian border and you don't follow the instructions of the Iranian border guards, it means you have ill-intentions. When you're dealing with drug smugglers you don't go and talk to them like "Hello, May I check your identifications please?" and then if they were smugglers you would go on and say "sorry, but according to our laws you should come with us to the police station". That sounds more like a joke. Iranian border guards warn them first, if they don't head the warnings, they'll be shot down. It's just as simple as that.

3. We have lost more than 20,000 innocent soldiers in the last decades fighting with drug smugglers. Most of those soldiers were ordinary people who were serving in the Iranian military for an obligatory 20-month period. (It's actually a much shorter time for these soldiers because they are serving in a 'dangerous' zone). We don't want to risk our soldiers' lives. No country wants to risk the lives of its forces. Drug smugglers should just forget about coming to Iran if they like to stay alive or else they'll be confronted because they are not welcomed.

What bothers me the most is that some people want to make these drug smugglers look innocent civilians who have unintentionally crossed the border and evil Iranian border guards have shot them down. An innocent civilian will head the instructions of border guards if they like to stay alive. An innocent civilian, even it's highly unlikely that he/she crosses the border unintentionally, will know that border guards can shoot them. I, as a civilian, know that if I cross into another country's territory they can bust me or even shoot me down. If some people still don't know that simple fact, I think they should be taught about it on the media.

You should've killed them if they had crossed the Pakistani border and had killed your people in your land. The laws of Pakistan could've been applied to them. I wouldn't have defended them if you had punished them.

I am sorry if you get that vibe from me. But please feel free to go see for yourselves for example in other forums where Iranians meet Arabs and see how the discussions roles out. Hell even in a site such as memebase when there is a pic that is making fun of Iran or the usual western people mistake of filing Iranians as Arabs see the comments for yourself. I understand that the internet is no place to judge any people with but still that is what I felt coming out of Iranians in general.

I really like you Arian I do not hate you nor do I hate any Race at all. In fact if you read my previous posts you will notice how I keep saying I do not even believe in such a thing as race to begin with.

Can you explain to me why the American hikers were spared the wrath of Iranian bullets from the trigger-happy Iranian border guards? The fact of the matter here is that, being Pakistanis, and with perhaps darker skin, you guys consider us inferior to you. No way in HELL would you ever have killed those 6 men were they Americans.

I have lighter skin than all the Iranians I ever met here in Canada, and never once did I think they were inferior to me.

And no, nuking Iran is not the solution. If the 6 people were drug smugglers, then at the very least the killers should get a few years in prison for killing without trial (note it's against Iran's own law to shoot and kill if not needed), and if they were innocent, the brutal killers should be put to death - in a Pakistani jail.

There's no need to get so passionate, egoistic, and patriotic. Those guys were not smugglers -- unless they were planning to smuggle goats into Iran.

Iran is a great nation i am sure Iran will get support from India if Pakistan starts a full scale attack.

Pakistan will never attack Iran, nor will Iran attack Pakistan, both countries value friendship and cooperation with one another more than war, secondly if india will support Iran then wouldn't india being going against its ally israel?

You highlighted a good point in the article, however who's fault is it ultimately that today Pakistanis are being killed? Is it Iran's fault that our borders are not properly secured? Is it America and NATO's fault that Pakistanis are being killed in drone strikes? Is it the fault of others that we let them walk over us and use us for their own gains? Who are the sell outs?

First it was NATO, than it was Afghans, and now its Iranians who kill our citizens, who's next in line? india? For Gods sake we're supposed to be a "nuclear" power, the "strongest" Islamic country (military wise) and we can't even defend our own, we're nothing but a big fat joke!!!! A country of hypocrites, sellouts, cowards, no wonder overseas Pakistanis are even ashamed to call themselves Pakistanis and would rather be called indian (the enemy).

i think he's busy dealing with the fact that he has few friends......Pakistan is one of the few remaining friends of Iran, and this is how friends get treated time to time....Pakistan's used to backstabbing by even allies, but these incidents are repeating themselves over for years and its irritating to the relations
