Iran shoots down Israeli drone operated by Azerbaijan violating Iranian airspace

@Philosopher

You are suggesting Iran jammed a drone inside Azeri territory in order to get it to crash or take it down over Iranian territory. You have zero evidence for that.

And no, I posted the most reliable source for the info which is an Iranian official and Iranian state media suggesting the drone crashed. Now you are rejecting official sources because they go against your narrative and relying on your own speculation and hypothetical scenarios.

Official news is official news that everyone is gonna go by. If you have a theory suggesting something else happened than you need to make a post on its own about that with facts to support it. Instead, you are still crying about my initial post in the thread and rejecting an official source even though I no intention to talk to you.

You like to argue for the sake of arguing which is not normal behavior and you need to get treated for it.

This is called a straw-man argument, I have not made such a claim. I stated, the UAV came into Iranian airspace, illegally and Iran downed it.

Is this truly difficult for you to understand or is it a case of pretending to be inept?

Now you're just repeating yourself. Like I have said already, that source did not state why it crashed. The Media reports what it sees and then updates accordingly. This is still an ongoing case, you're acting as if Iranian military has made an official statement.

Will you comment something new or just parrot the same posts again and again?

Given you have an obsession with quoting me and make the same comments, once again I think you're projecting.

No, the source did not claim the drone was downed. It claimed it crashed. I posted an official source and you have an uncorroborated assertion.

You're more than welcome to present evidence about that, I'll be waiting. Until then, the Iranian state media gave the true narrative and you are rejecting an official source after asking for one in the beginning.

@Falcon29

Please do not insult other members. Thanks.

I do not intend to insult anyone, but if someone is trying to dictate what we can or cannot do on the forum then I will draw a line for that. He's furious over an official Iranian source on the event and has decided to quote every post of mine for pointless discussions to try to turn people off from verifying the events on the ground. This forum should make it an emphasis to go by verifiable evidence/facts and nothing else, especially when related to major conflicts in the region.

I stated "crashed" does not mean it could not have been downed i.e deliberate crashing. We have been saying from the start it was "crashed" via Jamming etc. Read the comment carefully before replying.

Iranian media has simple stated a UAV crashed, it has said nothing on whether it was done deliberately by Iran or accident.

This is the what? fourth time I am telling you this.

That is your theory, which you have no evidence for. If Iran indeed did jam a drone no one will care, they are within their right to take down intruding drones. The thread title suggests drone was shot down, which it wasn't. That is what I'm arguing against and not against your theory. And I'm relying on official sources, including Iranian state media and offiicals.

You've already been provided with ample reasons why this is the case, if you chose to pretend to think this was a chance crash then feel free to live in your own bubble.

The thread title suggests drone was shot down, which it wasn't.

Downed does not have to mean kinetically, but also electronically. So the title is fine. If you have a problem with it, that's your issue.

That is what I'm arguing against and not against your theory. And I'm relying on official sources, including Iranian state media and offiicals.

Do you think by repeating yourself that it will somehow help your case?

This is an attack drone by the way, more like a munition, it's not a drone for surveillance that violated Iranian airspace. It's a guided munition and an error was made by Azerbaijan or there was a technical issue while firing it. It crashed head one into Iranian territory and Iranian official source confirms it was a crash. Photos of wreckage indicate it crashed too. So all evidence is working against you.

You don't 'shoot down' a drone with a jammer. So title is not fine. And yet again, you post meaningless posts with no evidence to support your theory. While I posted evidence and official sources. You can keep posting over and over again but it doesn't support your theory.

Btw, if you click on source, it suggests an AA vehicle shot the drone down. It doesn't seem you look over these things.

Your own conjecture, nothing to back this assertion that this UAV went haywire like this. Where is yours source? Have Azeris/Armenians made such a statement?

It crashed head one into Iranian territory and Iranian official source confirms it was a crash. Photos of wreckage indicate it crashed too. So all evidence is working against you.

So apparently a "crashed" caused by jamming will look different than one caused by other sources of malfunction. You're getting more out of touch by the second.

See above.

Once again, repetition.

This conversation became heated and spiked multiple REPORTS due to sheer intolerance at display as well as rigidity in views - all members are requested to remain calm and be open to logic and reason.

If a UAV (or any machine) is shot down, the wreckage is most likely to contain burned parts.

For example:

If a UAV crashed due to a technical fault (happens very often) / EW attacks (a possibility in hostile terrain), the wreckage will be in good shape OR in the form of pieces.

@LeGenD @waz you guys quick to ban iranian members but when it is done against iranians you guys are nowhere to be seen. it is not even deleted.
I have edited multiple posts, removed a few, and cautioned one member (Falcon29) in this thread thus far - all in accordance with each REPORT received.

It's an attack drone that crashed inside Iran's territory.
but how it crash unintentionally when it crashed 20KM inside Iranian territory??? you know IDF has already used Azerbaijan to send drones into IRan already right?? stop acting like these acts are just random ...they are likely not...
Babak as your source? You know even Iranians don't take him seriously? You gonna accept his reports about Israeli F35's striking Iran?
attacking the source of news is a fallacy- unless you can disprove what the source said or claimed, you technically do not have a point yet. Liars can tell the truth and vice versa.
Why are Azeris flying their drone in another country's territory? Trying to trap Iran into the mix?
thats what im suspecting...Israel might be doing the baiting too since Azerbaijan has given Israeli intelligence/MOssad drone bases in AZerbaijan for some years now.
