Iran: Outgunned In The Gulf – Analysis

He has posted the article with actual title :-)

Yeah, the article is from Eurasia review which is a publications with ties to The Jamestown Foundation which is accused of ties with CIA whose original mission was to support Soviet dissidents. So you can use your own imagination to see when they publish something about Iran, what its real purpose is actually is: "To bring down Iranians morale and make them feel defeated already".

The ARABIAN Gulf will hold true to its name Persians. And to Persians here who think Arabs will run away at awe of the coolness of your Persianism then keep thinking that will you? HAHAHA

May be Arabs should focus on freeing the Gulf of Palestine instead of focusing on share sea route with Iran oh wait the weapons don't work on Israeli planes cuz they are desigened with that intent

The unexpected unfolding event in the Middle East are taking the region very fast towards a big showdown. .....

You are either too drunk or not drunk enough.
Take your BS somewhere else.extermists like you have destroyed the name of the Islam.
In your fantasy world, every muslim who don't follow your beliefs is Satan, devil and kafirs.
If you want to see destruction of Iran, why don't you come over here and blow up your self and kill some shiites? You also have a chance of meeting 72 virgins.

I really wonder what you have been fed in your childhood that you have these ridiculous views.
That's hezb al shaitan that you are spreading your lies about it,kicked Israel's arse in 33 days and with 4000 armed men. That's what all of you Arab countries couldn't do altogether.

So, the Arabian peninsula gulf countries alone can take on Iran? Not surprised.

Iran is acting way too ahead of itself. It needs to give in to the pressure it's gaining from the international community. We Pakistanis have been on the same boat during the late 1990s, to 2001-2. We stood against it, but because of the result, many of us became poor.

I'm not defending the west and their barbaric actions, but Iran needs to understand that over 80% their revenues, and over 60% of their economy is by their oil and massive population alone. We had no oil when we were sanctioned to the throat, and Iran is having trouble even with their oil. They need to give in, stop making weapons, and start developing their country so the average person there can live better.

Each day Iran's growth is slowing down, it will not be one of the N11 countries anymore some reports say. The average Iranian is suffering as the result of this.

Iran is selling oil just fine, when it had to rebuild after Iraq's imposed war, barrel of oil price was what, 8$? And Iran recovered. Now barrel of oil 110-120$, even with discount to India/China, Iran is making ~100-100$, I dont see a big problem.

They need to give in, stop making weapons, and start developing their country so the average person there can live better.

Gaddafi did it, how he is doing now? Gaddafi actually had nuclear weapons program (Iran doesnt), he closed it, barely invested in weapons, and made Libya the most prosperous country in Africa.

Fast forward - he is dead, and Libya is in ruins. What you are suggesting would lead to the same results for Iran, and they learn from others mistakes. If Iran isnt willing to surrender their independence (and I respect that), war is coming anyway, and their choice is to go down singing, on their own terms, instead of enemies. Iran's asymetric defense is one of the best in the World, and any enemy will curse the day they started war with Iran.

We will give Nuclear weapon to any nation allied with us in WW4 how about that and so will Russia and China

By writing this kind of article they are trying to create IRAN DIVIDE to show they will be in the losing side
WHICH is wrong they are DEFENDING IRAN so IF THEY DIE IT IS OK AS LONG AS IRAN IS SAFE

there will be a lot of ppl to hate many Middle East Muslim Nation who Attack Iran including Muslim will hate the MIDDLE EAST
and it may even create protest or problem for some government
Remember Attacking IRAN WILL JUST BE START OF THE PARTY ,

Always remember IRAN is a PEACEFUL nation who doesn't Interfere with other country doesn't Invade and doesn't command

Please ignore the comment of that Zahil. Iranian doesn't need any endorsement from punk like him to prove their faith in Islam. May Allah give him guidance.

Irans economy is not doing fine... Iran's curency lost %50 of its value in 6 months... Iran's mullah could choose two way after Gulf War, One was rebiuld country and focus on social and economical issues and the other one was they could stop after some time on socioeconomic issues and build their army for dominance in Gulf.

Iranian regime choose the second option and Iranian people are suffering from it.

You made two points, and both are incorrect. Iran's currency was artificially high, and it was decided by government to address it. Sanctions harms economy, but it wasnt why 50% happened, longbrained could provide you with economist article about the subject.

"stop after some time on socioeconomic issues and build their army for dominance in Gulf."

Do you realize Iran spends WAY less on army than on social programs? Plus they focus on defense, NOT to "build their army for dominance in Gulf", Iran doesnt threaten nor has plans to attack anyone.

Here is a good article on it:

The fall of the Iranian rial: too much of a good thing? « Tyranny of numbers

Comparing Iran and Turkey,Iran uses 1.8% of its GDP on military and Turkey 2.7% of its GDP.We have been in a bloody war that costed us 1 trillion dollars. We have been under sanctions for 20 years. We are threatened to be attacked on a daily basis and still our defense budget is lower than Turkey and even lower than a little country like UAE.
I don't understand what dominance in Persian Gulf mean since it's never have been our goal. Can you tell me who are the ones buying billions of dollars of American or Russian arms every year?your argument here is completely non sense.
