Gaza isn't gone. All weapons in Gaza are still being supplied by Iran; Hezbollah is still politically and militarily dominating Lebanon, and if they manage to do well in Syria, it would have a positive political outcome for them. Iran is not getting more isolated; it is freely moving around all the way from their country to the Mediterranean Coast of Syria and Lebanon.

There is no way for Hz to win in Syria, Shia population in Lebanon is about 40% out of 4,4 million population, so they are about 1,7 million Shia in Lebanon, yet, no matter how many they recruit, they won't survive a long war against 19 million Syrian Sunnis, they are losing 20-40 everyday and they can't afford that for long.

Once Iran maintains to secure a significant amount of land in Syria, Hamas will get back to Iran, as Iran is the only party which is capable and willing to supply these Palestinian organizations with weapons.
