Iran emerging as victor in Syrian conflict

It is interesting that the WP article does not attribute the article to any author, I find that curious, even though Vali Nasr had a article in the Gulf news or KhaleejTimes, in which Vali Nasr lamented US policy and made the point that Iranian policy was emerging successful in Syria - but Vali Nasr is a bit of an outsider these days (12th commandment : Thou shall not criticize Obama)

The prize for the US is Iran, a destroyed Iran is no prize -

Not true at all, We are now fighting in Iranian area of "influence", after Gaza, Syria and Lebanon were taken as Iranian allies for granted, Gaza is gone, almost Bashar and soon Lebanon. Iran is getting more isolated in the ME.

please shut up, you hypocrite. you called us barbarians for no reason and then say when we say this our man is a spy. what nonsense. go man, go. go..you say we are phycho these arab, turk, west + zionist regime all enemy of all, pakistan and iran you do the same to us. those guys have sold out and say the same thing.

:D

:smitten:

Slow down guys, there are people here and they do have eyes and ears.

Gaza isn't gone. All weapons in Gaza are still being supplied by Iran; Hezbollah is still politically and militarily dominating Lebanon, and if they manage to do well in Syria, it would have a positive political outcome for them. Iran is not getting more isolated; it is freely moving around all the way from their country to the Mediterranean Coast of Syria and Lebanon.

Hamas and Iran relations have been severed. Hz is now fighting for their lives in Syria as they know very well that their turn is right after Bashar, so they started fighting from now. There is no way for Hz to win in Syria, Shia population in Lebanon is about 40% out of 4,4 million population, so they are about 1,7 million Shia in Lebanon, yet, no matter how many they recruit, they won't survive a long war against 19 million Syrian Sunnis, they are losing 20-40 everyday and they can't afford that for long.

19 million Syrian Sunnis? First of all, not all Sunnis in Syria are fighting, let alone the fact that a significant amount of Syrians consist of older women/men and children. Plus there are already millions of Syrian refugees in the region, who didn't had the appetite to fight and instead fled. And then you have enough urban, liberal middle-class Sunnis which still support Assad over rebels. On the other hand, Hezbollah is way more organized, professional, determined and united than all those rag-tag rebel militias.

Once Iran maintains to secure a significant amount of land in Syria, Hamas will get back to Iran, as Iran is the only party which is capable and willing to supply these Palestinian organizations with weapons.

No my friend, compared to one year ago, Iran is winning ground.

Nope, Most Syrians are young people, and most refugees are children, women and elders. The majority of Sunni guys are involved in defending their areas. While you are whining over Qusair "victory" FSA managed to capture much bigger and more important areas in the mean time. You're just deluded people have a totally different definition of "Victory" than the rest of human beings. I leave you here my deluded friend.

@Surenas @BLACKEAGLE

The First Person the FSA killed in Qausar City was a Coptic Christian Girl.

There is only around 500 Hizbollah fighting in Syria, and BLACKEAGLE says they are fighting for their lives.

Here right from the mouth of a SUNNI Lebanease on the Syrian Situation.

^
They Back Assad, not the fake Israeli, British, Saudi, Turkey, Jordan and American Funded FSA Crusader throat slitters.

Most Syrian military aged-males aren't fighting. If that was the case, Assad would have been finished long time ago. AFAIK there are between 50.000-100.000 rebels fighting, which is not even 1% of the population that is able to fight. There goes your deluded-argument.

And rebels aren't winning; read the reports. They have lost Qusayr, important areas around Damascus and they are on the defensive now in Aleppo. Plus reports are mentioning increasing low morale among rebels. Conclusion: high-morale fighters from Lebanon and Iraq, supported by Iranian advisors c.q. military support and Russian political support has given Assad new life.

More Jlhadi lies. Hezbollah has lost about 100 fighters so far now, which is relatively low if you look at the nature of fighting.

You can easily find 200 in this pro-Hz page. Enjoy:

Many of them aren't part of Hezbollah's regular army, and are instead fighting around Sayyeda Zainab area. You can distinct those fighters by the golden dome of the mosque on the background of those pics.

Talking to you is a waste of time.

I'm very glad that wahhabis in Syria showed their true face, if it wasn't today, they would definitely betray the resistance in future. the outcome of these events is a pure government and army in Syria, also a new Hezbollah has already shaped in Syria.
Zionist strategists have already noticed their big mistake, but it's too late for them.
do you know how many of them lost their job?
