Hi sorry to be off topic we can not even build a oil pipeline with Iran
And we people are talking about selling them sanction proof jets
Beside this I think they bought some mig29 from Russia and they can
Buy some more and hopefully Russia can sustain American pressure
Specially after recent debacles with uk
Thank you

I thought Dawn is anti Iran with its provocative and false reports about shelling Pak civilians by Iran. Dawn is BS-er of our century. I thought that is being funded either by Saudi or Israel.

Any Iranian news source reporting this visit to Iranians?
I like to see the their version of detailing!

I would love if Pakistan would sell them the JF-17 but I know that is a pipe dream our government will buckle under the pressure from Saudi Arab and UAE and thus it will not happen. And the pipeline example is true indeed. They haven't even built our section of the oil pipeline under American and Arab pressure, even though the Iranians built their portion up to the border a long time ago.
At most we might be able to sell them some Mushaks for their training needs.

That is false and myopic understandings, and who is we?

Media can have different agenda based upon ownership and editorials; but DAWN has only taken an anti-establishment stance recently.
It is still (compared to most urdu and english publications) quite objective in its ancillary reports.

There was shelling, but as such both sides do it when they suspect firing or smugglers.
Both aren’t too familiar with civilian movements on either side and that onus lies on the FO of both governments. Essentially, both Iran and Pakistan don’t consider each other enemies and so don’t make proactive efforts to monitor their borders or understand the people and terrain on the other side.

OK Boss, I apologize for falsely accusing Dawn.

At least Pakistan and Iran should finalise the Iran-Pakistan pipeline deal and send a message to US that we have our national interests and priorities.

You can accuse an article or owner, or point to a track record as proof.
For eg. The Friday times is fairly liberal elite or middle class specific and pulls no punches against the establishment.
understood.
Galti ho gai janab.
